Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Anyway, getting back to less stupid things I just imdb'd Val and the movie I was thinking of is 2002's The Salton Sea:

Probably the last decent movie he starred in. I recommend checking it out.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Batman: A-list film.

Heat, Island of Dr. Moreau, Ghost and the Darkness, The Saint, *******, Red Planet: B-list films. A big step down.

Batman: A-list film
Batman Forever: B-list at best, and that's being generous...

What I said was more nuanced; when you refuse to reprise a popular role, often your career takes a turn for the worse. Kilmer found that out, he wasnt the first nor will he be the last.

Please elaborate...
Any other "examples"?... :dunno

Though i agree with Bay's words, it's hypocritical of him to say that about money seeing the amount he demands in his contracts.

And for such crappy movies...
At least Weaving delivers... :lol

The rest, absolutely, but with DeNiro and Pacino, Heat wasn't a B-list film. :lol

This might sound crazy but... :lecture:goodpost:

And as I said, Batman Forever isn't A-list...

Not really. He's always forced into doing a Transformers movie, doesn't want too, but when he does, he makes it, and doesn't complain.

Real Genius > Top Secret

I made the mistake of re-watching Top Secret when I first got Netflix. It hasn't aged well.

It's still one of my favorite 80s comedies.
