Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

True. But I would've liked to have heard the theme enter the modern age. I'm getting a bit tired of all these hero films losing the main composer, and thus, losing a singular sound and cue.

But I suppose that's just how it is now. Eh.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

That's deffinately his suit from TFA, so it's good to see the rumors confirmed that he goes back to it.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

The TFA suit will make an appearance, but it's the following suit which will likely get more screen time.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Either way, he looks better than he did in Avengers.

It's pretty much a certainty that he'll be back in his old WWII duds.

Oh, and alright poster too. Better than 90% of the official photoshopped crap out there. I like how DC is in the background. Is he at odds with himself and the government with ideals and such?

I like this new suit... I'm looking forward to the Hot Toys figure.

So excited for the trailer, love the poster too. :clap

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Though this poster has the "character showing back" poster look, I think overall it's still a great looking image.

Cap is standing on the SHIELD logo, his shield is what catches the most attention, while the DC background is a nice visual hinting at things to come.

That was a consistent and important part of the Cap story in the comics (Cap is driven by the country's ideals, not it's specific policies or politicians), so I hope so. But the DC thing could simply suggest that action takes place in DC.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

That's what I'm really hoping for as well.

It's a stretch, but I sort of seeing it like Cap is preparing himself for battle before his jump into action. Where's the new war? DC.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

I'm less certain now that I'm comparing to Vivek's post.

Though...
Given he steals his old suit out of the Smithsonian, that shot could be the lead-up to it.

Outdated ideals. Avengers showed how antiquated Cap is. Hopefully he does some serious catching-up in the sequel.
