Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Well, at least they didn't give away anything big in the trailer, you know, like a Hellicarrier crashing or something. :lol

It was a dream anyway while Cap was in the shower.......:lol

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Looks too serious, needs more levity..er I mean Loki.
Marvel needs to bring in Hiddlston and Dennings for some pick up shots. The grim tone will scare every one away.

It looks a little more serious, but you can tell the humor is there, "was he wearing a parachute?" :lol

And the villain looks freaking fantastic!

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Loved the score, and pretty much everything about the trailer.

One negative point though, Thw Winter Soldiers robotic arm moved and looks like an arm CGI'd silver than a prosthetic limb which would have hinges and joints

EDIT: nevermind, i guess because it's so fast, i didn't notice the hinges :slap

I found his barbershop quarter line the most humourous.

Seriously, though, that sort of stuff needs to stop. Honestly, I think the whole "grimdark vs. light-hearted and fun" debate shouldn't even exist. Go where the story needs you to go. Some things may need a bit of levity, while others will need a heavier approach, people should focus more on the story at hand than on the overall tone.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

I just hope he comes out of the gate swinging. Show everyone who's boss. Something I didn't see much of in the first.

I felt that Cap 1 did a good job of portraying Cap... With that being said, I found it akin to what they were parodying with the one-man show bit; it established Cap the same way reading one of his 1940's propaganda comics would have. It showed you Cap the way he was meant to be seen for the time period that he was in.

I have a feeling that things will come full circle with this one; fully developing into the "man out of time" Cap that we all know so well.

Exactly how I felt.
