Yeah, I've seen the shot that illustrates what your talking about. Even if they call it the original suit, I like it slightly better because of the extra stripe.

Considering the original suit was frozen in the ice with Rodgers for a few decades the Smithsonian suit was probably a replica (or perhaps the real one but it's been "restored"). That could explain the imperfections.

I could live with that explanation.
