TeamCap all the way.

I have zero interest in the Iron Spider outfit, it just reminds me what a silly trainwreck most of the Civil war comic was. Besides, if it's Spidey's first appearance in a Marvel movie, I'm betting he'll start off with a homemade outfit that looks goofy (nothing like the outfit Tobey Maguire's Peter somehow "sewed" for himself, more like a blue sweatsuit, red sweatsocks and gloves, and a red ski mask with eyeholes cut out and crude webs drawn on in marker.) Then Stark will design him an outfit which will look like the classic comic version (maybe Tony will try to make it red and gold but Peter will insist on red and blue.)

As for characters I'm most interested in the role Winter Soldier will play in this movie, and hopefully it's not just a glorified cameo. He's too cool a character for Marvel to leave on the shelf.

Heh, I liked the Iron Spider outfit for what it was but god damn Civil War was my least favorite event. I'd rather have something from Secret Invasion, into Dark Reign, into Siege. That's an epic chain of events right there. I just personally think that Civil War was kind of pointless and just overrated BUT i'm hoping that the Russo's and writers of the film can improve on that storyline. I have faith in them. I mean...if this movie never happened, fanboys would just keep clamoring for it. But if anything, I do wish that Civil War took place after Infinity War so we could have all the heroes we can get. The roster for this movie just seems too small.

Obviously team IM. I think the split so far will be:

Team IM
IM
Scarlet Witch
War Machine
Crossbones
Black Panther

Team Cap
Cap
Black Widow
Hawkeye
Winter Soldier
Falcon

Here's the rundown on most of the new costumes for CW. A good chunk of this hasn't been made public yet, but Badass Digest did break the scoop on some of these. We should start seeing the new looks when set photos start coming out.

Cap - Modified AoU suit, much simpler and cleaner than AoU design, sits somewhere between the stealth and AoU suits. Those who think the AoU suit is overdesigned will like this new version. Compared to AoU, they got rid of a lot of the red highlights as well as the white on the biceps. The arms do have a red line going across where the bicep meets the shoulder. The rest of the suit is a direct carryover from AoU, including Avengers logo, arm magnets, and gaiters.

Iron Man - Yep there will be a Mk46. It's essentially a modified Mk45 but with a few key changes - more gold in the torso and arms to break up the all the 45's red, smoother faceplate design (similar to the Mk3-7 helmets), and last but not least, an inverted trapezoid cutout over the round chest RT. The 45 has a hexagon cutout btw.

Black Panther - Not much change to the already revealed concept art. The suit is generally fabric throughout, with the mask being metal or some other hard material. The necklace is still there. I did get to see some early CGI work showing BP's movements. They pretty much nailed it, very acrobatic and animal-like, not quite the acrobat as Spider-Man, you can definitely tell BP's carrying more weight than Spidey as he moves around.

Falcon - Very dark costume overall, mostly dark gray with some red. Kinda reminds me of Wolvie's DOFP future costume, also has a mix of hard armor components and fabric. Wings look pretty much the same as TWS.

Ant-Man - Yes he'll be in the movie, presumably it's Lang and not Pym. Also will have Giant-Man ability. Badass Digest already broke this. Couldn't really tell if he gets a new suit, looked pretty much the same, but the new ability is most definite.

War Machine - This one is baffling to me. I've seen concept art of WM fighting Falcon where he's wearing what appears to be a new suit, but I've seen other standalone concept art for WM where it's the Mk2 suit from IM3/AoU. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Crossbones - We will see Rumlow in full costume, looks very Stevenson Punisher-esque. Black tactical gear with crossbones graffiti painted on his vest and skull design on his mask (couldn't tell if mask was a helmet or fabric). I'd say it looks pretty true to the comic look.

Though I tend to agree with caps stance I'm team iron man. Just because.

Next year- 10 more CW announcements from HT- like AoU all over again.
Meanwhile no Ripley, Batman Returns, etc...

As much as I love those other properties, I'm sick to death of seeing them brought up again and again here and on Facebook. If you just accept that they will never happen and join the Marvel bandwagon, you will enjoy this hobby a lot more.

:exactly: :goodpost:

Also thanks for that scoop Johnny Utah! If what you said about IM's suit turns out to be true, then I'm even more excited as Mk 46 could very well turn out to be the "true" Extremis suit in the film universe. :)

Well that is certainly an awesome scoop. I can't wait to see all the CW costumes and if the Mk 46 rumor is true, I will probably wait till that suit and skip the 45...unless we get something amazing in Infinity War.

You might as well skip the infinity war part one becuase there will be one in part two. And skip it for the next one. Heck might as well not buy one ever just in case in 15 years there's a better one.

I do not understand that thinking.

I would love to see Crossbones like this!!!
