Just keep twisting the knife jye. :lol

But yeah it was pretty awesome that the Russos worked in their version of this classic cover, with or without Wolverine.

Bradley Cooper voice- such a regal creature

I love rewatching that initial fight he had with Bucky. Poor guy was really trying to escape with his life. And he almost slit his throat later on before Scarlet Witch sent him flying.

I didn't catch the parallel watching the film, but that is one of my favorite comic covers, from one of my favorite comic artists (my favorite Cap artist). I had a poster of that in my room growing up.

I can't imagine they'd make Cap gay just for the sake of having a gay character in the MCU. They can always just add a gay character. Though hopefully they won't decide to do to movie Cap what they're doing to comic book Cap

and revealing he has been a Hydra agent all along :slap

What? :lol

Comic companies routinely do stupid **** to drum up sales, but that may take the cake. Move over Nu-52, Superman giving up his citizenship, ghetto Green Lantern, etc. etc.

I'm sure it's just a ploy by Cap, though. Or that there is some other explanation. Thousands of the comics he has appeared in would make no sense if this were "true."

#SayNotoHYDRACap is trending on Twitter. Spencer is such a lazy writer. That is pulled straight from a WWE type storyline. Just like bad Hulk Hogan. Will Cap grow evil dark facial hair now? How stupid of Marvel Comics.

"His mission is to further the goals and beliefs of Hydra," explained Brevoort. "If that involves taking down the Marvel universe, sure. (But) it may not be as simple as that. It’s not like he’s exchanged his white hat for a black hat — it’s a green hat. We knew it would be like slapping people in the face. The idea of Captain America means something very primal and very strong to the people of this nation, and they have a very visceral reaction when you get to something like that. You want people to feel and react to your story. So far, so good."

Writer Nick Spencer spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the reveal, solidifying the fact that this is Steve Rogers. "[T]he one thing we can say unequivocally is: This is not a clone, not an imposter, not mind control, not someone else acting through Steve," said Spencer. "This really is Steve Rogers, Captain America himself."

Me, personally, I'm intrigued. I've got an opening in my pull, so I might add this. Granted, I'm not a big Cap fan (I prefer his villains) and I am a fan of "stupid, crazy" concepts like this, so I'm game. I did love Superior after all (both Iron Man and Spider-Man).

Let's not get crazy here! Terrible idea, one of the worst in the history of comics? Sure. But worse than the WB DC stuff? Too far.

I dunno man. Trashing Cap...the one truly all American Hero we have.....and making him Hydra all along? F that and F Marvel for doing it.

Man that sounds horrible!

What's next, a Superman that would let his father kill himself in a tornado or not help if the United States Congress got blown up!

I can't catch up on this thread, but wanted to throw in my .02 regarding Indy v CA

Given how flagrantly 9's and 10's are thrown around on this board, I think a curve must be applied to ROTLA. So, on a scale of 1 to 10, ROTLA is an 18.

Thank you, have a nice day.
