Deadpool was so well received that Marvel is reportedly taking additional design cues from Rob Liefeld for their own live-action universe.

:lol
It is hilarious googling Liefeld Captain America and seeing the results. The one with the skeleton just says it all.

Singer was way ahead of them

As someone who once had muscular arms and chicken legs I'm highly offended by that. But only for a nano second. :rotfl

:lol :lol

I can easily defend AOU/BvS. :yess:

Now that you mention it, Chris Evans has only been seen with his mom, sister or alone during movie premieres.....never with a....

:horror
I've wondered about that myself with Evans in the past and prepared myself for his eventual outting, then that picture of him checking out Olsen's bewbs on the red carpet made me rethink that position. Now Kevin Spacey...

Man I just finished AOU and that movie has aged really well.

Sure the South Korea stuff is somewhat wonky but man does Hulk battle with Hulkbuster, Vision's birth, the ending in Sokovia and Vision's talk with Ultron deliver the goods.

I still got goosebumps during the church battle and quad strike on Ultron.

Sorry but that movie is indeed FRESH!

Funny, after revisiting TWS earlier in the week I watched AoU again tonight too. :)

And yep, the criticism against this movie since it was released has been way overemphasized. It's just a fun summer spectacle with a lot going on, four great action sequences, a lot of entertaining dialogue, moments of genuine levity and it's anchored by some genuinely impressive moments like the church battle you mentioned and last scene with Vision and Ultron.

It goes off course a couple times but delivers the goods and ends on a high note. It's no Russo film but it is indeed a worthy chapter in the MCU.

I commend you. I enjoyed AOU but it usually becomes a drag when people say the same ... The boo birds come out in full force.

Discussing movies can be Civil War. :lol

But the movie came out last year :lol

:rock

It's amazing seeing the differences between Whedon and Russo though, the greater director won that internal Civil War.

But yes, worthy entry.

I watched AOU the other night on cable. I enjoyed the action. The only two things about the movie that really bothered me was Thor in the cave, and watching Cap go toe to toe with Ultron and not getting his butt kicked. He even fought him without his shield for a while and held his own.

I checked showtimes for Apoc and was surprised to see that it only had half the showings as Alice and that Alice is getting the IMAX screens. But then I saw that Civil War still has two showings in IMAX until Alice starts at 7:00 pm. I decided what the hell, today's a light work day and after binging TFA, TWS, and AoU over the last week I'm totally in the mood to just continue and catch my second viewing of CW at 3:30. I literally was checking showtimes for Apoc and am seeing CW in IMAX instead. :lol :yess:

Fox should have paid attention to the Miramax/Hateful 8 situation. If you heavily advertise that your film will be shown in large format don't open against a Disney tentpole.

:lol :lol :lol

CW is absolutely not a one and done theatrically.

Hell, i'm up to 4 already, but tonight is an X-Men night, I need a good nights sleep anyways so this should help. :lol
