And how could I forget the mid-credit scene?! Gave me chills. The best post credit scene since thanos in avengers.

Yeah it was nice to finally see Bucky and Cap come together again in a consistent sense. I watched Captain America TFA last night and you can see just how beefed up Bucky got for this role.

I agree with your take on the women...I also enjoyed Widow coming to the funeral just so Cap wasn't alone despite their strong differences in opinion. I would have liked for the other characters to show up to show Cap that even though the issue is important enough that eventually it might be problematic, they were all still friends. That would have just been a preference though...

I think even though I knew what was going to happen I was still hoping that the avengers would find a way to avoid splintering up lol

I hear you. I actually loved the unbroken bond between Cap and Widow throughout. She obviously picked up on the Steve/Sharon link and used that to track them to the airport but on a personal level they kept their friendship intact at all stages of the conflict. I'm glad they never directly came to blows at the airport. Kind of funny that in a movie that's all about selling tickets to go see the "Civil WAR" dun dun dun they did a good enough job in investing us in the characters' relationships that we DIDN'T want them to fight. :lol

Watched it again, and loved t even more. It would have been cool if both Cap and Natasha broke the rest of the group out of the raft at the end.

I figure it was Cap and T'Challa. T'Challa probably used tech to get him in then Steve punched his way to the cells. Probably just had to tell Wanda to do her thing and free the rest. I know her hands her bound but in the opening of AoU she was telekinetically closing doors without using her hands.

I'm going to crap myself with my mouth wide open if Infinity War opens with Cap in his black "The Captain" suit with new vibranium shield gifted to him by T'Challa in issue #342. :thud:

So crazy idea but interesting one I saw posed discussing film productions.

We all figure Infinity Wars is guaranteed, but let's say something happens where it doesn't, we maybe get a few more solo films and it's over, how would you feel if this movie was the end of cinematic Avengers?

He was trying to get cast in an X-Men movie.:lol

I loved that costume design though, and was glad they kept it for US Agent.

I'd be fine with it

That would be a pretty dark ending for the overall gang..which I'm not against dark endings...but I do think I would prefer to see them cone again out of desperation one more time...especially with Panther and strange and Spider-Man more in the mix actually fighting seriously

Oh I took it as that was it for the mcu for now....until it was rebooted with a new cast or something

That's what I meant, like the studio just stops and we don't get any more movies for like 10 years if ever again at all, and certainly this story arc would be over and a new, reboot one would start.

I kinda enjoy the idea of a grand spectacle to finish off this arc. I wouldn't mind it they did it in solo films either. Only issue I have is waiting 10 years for a reboot.....unlike some folks I enjoy the hell out of these movies.

Some folks have already made Digital Drawings/Sketches of an MCU HYDRA Cap:

Thoughts on the story itself aside, those look dang cool...

What I find peculiar is how big of a deal this became. EVERYONE's talking about it. There are new articles popping up every damn hour. Most are the usual "Marvel iz razizt" ones, mostly written by the MCU fangirls who just wanted some steamy hot Stucky action and got pissed (Plus the Tumblrina crowd). It's just weird how big this thing became. They're posting pictures of the Holocaust on Marvel's Twitter page, they're sending death threats to Spencer, even EW and movie-focused sites are still talking about it.
