Man, I sure hope for Cap's sake that everyone that wanted to see HP did so this weekend.

The domestic and world wide box office for HP is just mind boggling staggering.

Not at all. It's Harry Potter....it's the biggest thing to happen to our culture since Star Wars.

I mean, LOTR is whatever, but it doesnt hold a candle to Potter.

Think about the books, the movies, the toys, the props, the candies, the ____, the costumes, ect sold, and add all that up. It's HUGE! :lol

Does HT have the HP license?

I predict Potter will crush Cap next week but I care less. I haven't watched a single Potter flick this one will be no exception. But Cap is a 2 - 3 times at least flick for me....:yess:

I saw somewhere where they claimed it was tracking in the high 40's right now. I hope that's not true because that would be really embarrassing. I keep feeling like it will surprise people though

:goodpost:

I never got the whole HP thing. The movies appear to be very well made, and anything to get kids to read is a good thing, but watching teenie boppers, wizards, and witches flicking little sticks around is pretty weaksauce IMO.
