Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

I was forced into seeing Ghost Rider 3 times in 2 days. Worst film of all time for me. Awful....awful awful, awful.

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

It wasn't the worst superhero movie ever made (I actually enjoyed it more than the Fantastic Four films), but there are plenty that were better.

So pumped for Captain America, though! Really excited to see how Hugo Weaving handles Red Skull, my only gripe is that I'd like his face to look more like an actual red skull, not like a make-up effect (as seen in MOTU). That's just me, though.

Now how is it that none of those Top Ten Comic Book Movie lists include Sin City? Really, Sin City would be at the #1 spot in mine... that, and Batman Begins would be before TDK. :monkey3

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

No, it was. You cant tell me otherwise because I have the brain tumor to prove how incredibly godawful that movie was.

I think i'm bumping Spider-Man 3 up a few notches.

The Incredible Hulk is one of my favorites to be honest. I know people dont like it....but I think it's one of the best of the bunch. :D

Its a good comic flick. Hulk by Ang Lee is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I almost walked out of that piece of crap.

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

Hahaha....it would've been a good movie if they took out the Hulk.

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

Nah, if they had gotten someone who knew how to direct a comic movie. The use of the comic panels for the entire time the movie went on was freaking annoying.

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

Like I said, take out the Hulk, and it's a decent flick. Just a terrible Hulk movie.

For something that smashes, he didnt do a lot of smashing.

I agree. I really liked The Incredible Hulk, I think it's on of the best comic book movies out there. :D

I just wish it had more nudity.

You wanted to see the Hulk's "little hulk" didn't you. :monkey3 ;) :nana:

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

With Ang Lee's Crouching Thunderbolt, Hidden Hulk movie I still enjoyed the desert tank battle and his fight with the helicopters and running fast swatting away the missles and jumping across the mountains, music and editing was kinda cool in those scenes if you ask me.

Yeah, the father stuff was a pain in the ass to sit thru, which was 85% of the movie. :gah:

Ang Lee should hang out with Tim Burton and discuss their father issues :lol

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

The problem with Hulk is...he wasnt really a hero half the time. He was destroying tanks and ____...he didnt do anything heroic until....the end?

There was the dogs though....
