Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

Whoever is in charge of the Batman Arkham series should be the only ones allowed to do superhero games.
The only other descent comic game was the first Marvel Ult Alliance game imo.

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

These last 2 Spidey games, Web of Shadows and Shattered Dimensions have been really good. And so was the Wolverine:Origins game:dunno

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

Regardless, I posted the pix more for what it might mean for the movie.

None of those games were made by Sega though and the two Spidey games weren't movie based.

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

I actually enjoyed the Wolverine Origin game more than Batman AA :horror

The fights were much more brutal which made it much for fun for me.

Not saying I didn't enjoy the Batman game, I just enjoyed the combat a-lot more on Wolverine.

Oh, and SEGA made neither :lol

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

Movie based video games always seem to suck. Seems like they may be learning that since the Green lantern game is a tie in and if I recall correctly this is as well.

They both look totally humiliated! lol

And I guess they had the costume design down before Evans was cast? That figure looks NOTHING like him. Captain Generic.

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

The figure is 3 3/4" tall total. The head is less only about 1/2 inch. Its not going to look like anybody at that scale :lol

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

They do look disinterested in being there....:rotfl

Very hard to tell from those photos, they don't particularly look unhappy either, we don't know what's in their minds.

They're getting paid lots of money to be there, easy money for them, at least a-lot easier than making a movie so I doubt they're unhappy.

Would you be unhappy being payed to be there?

If not, then I doubt they are either.

And if they are....well....screw them :lol

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

If you snap a 100 pics, you're bound to find one with a questionable facial expression.

True on all levels. 100 pics bound to get questionable shots. I am sure they enjoy the money, adoration and career spike these films will generate but the subject matter is probably beneath them. Takes a special breed of grown ups to enjoy toys :rotfl

Correct.

And within that 100 you can also find one that shows a happy face.

It could even be the photo taken immediately after the one they looked unhappy which makes us now say.."look, they're happy to be there holding their toy" :lol

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

To me, It looks like they're just "playing"/fiddling with the toys during some down time waiting for an interview/official photos:dunno Since they've handled the real prop versions of these things, they're probably just baffled at how there's actual toy versions of these things for kids

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

definitely, all the marvel movie games suck

Actually wolverine game wasnt all that bad and spidey 2 is probaly the best spidey game so far.

Re: The First Avenger: Captain America Discussion Thread

Wolverine was actually awesome. Unlike that vile dreck that was Origins.
