Celebrating Hot Toys 10th Anniversary



Many fans may have already known that this year is the 10th anniversary of Hot Toys.

To celebrate our 10th years of craftsmanship and quality, we will be having our first-of-its-kind fabulous anniversary event during Christmas!



Amid guessing of the 10th anniversary special last week, here we are proud to unveil our 10th ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION

“THE 1/6TH SCALE RENAISSANCE DECADE” which will be taken place in Tokyo from Dec 24-26, 2010!



What’s more, there will be Hot Toys 10th anniversary exclusive items which will be available at the event:

l 1/6th scale Michael Jackson (Beat It version) Collectible Figure

Batman Demon and the Scarecrow are really starting to grow on me. Hope HT will give the US a chance to get these EX's.

I'm not such a fan of Batman but I like the look of that Demon figure too.

I've long thought it would be nice if HT released some sort of retrospective coffee table book, even if just a book of their official prototype pictures. Maybe with this 1/6 exhibition they'll put out something like that. Exhibitions often put out a connected catalog/book.

We'll have official pics and specs well before then but safe bet the figure won't release until Q1 2011.

I'm looking forward to seeing a review or two of Bats and Scarecrow, but for the price and lack of accessories it's a good release IMO. Demon Bats may have only had one scene, but what a scene it was

In the announcement/ad above, under each figure the edition size is written (in Japanese). For MJ and Bats/SC, 4000 total with 2000 for the Japan event, and for Friend 2500 total/2000 for Japan.

So's everyone else I'll be going for both, though. Demon Bats looks good I'm much more disappointed with Scarecrow with it not having a CM sculpt.

Wonder why a Hong Kong company is celebrating its 10th year anniversary in Japan. If they were to do it in HK, I would've been able to make a trip there (going to HK, from where I am, is much much cheaper than going to JP ). Anyway, none of the figure triggers my interest so I guess nothing lost for me

When you say friends does that mean their official retailers?? So its official US buyers will have a chance to own these pretty babies?
