Odds are I will not qualify for Boston anyway
You must run a certain speed according to your age in a qualifying marathon and then submit your name and time in the Boston marathon lottery and hope you are chosen.
It would be am honor and fulfilled dream to run.

Have you ever thought of the NY marathon ?

I hear NY and Chicago have great marathons.
Boston is considered one of the best because you have to qualify. It's like the black belt to the martial arts student.

Understood. Would be nice to hit the Marathon and have a freaks section cheering for you one year.

Sounds good I'll keep an eye out for a room to open.
I don't know if a cancellation automatically makes it available, or if they need to open the block up again. I wonder if there is a way to transfer reservations from one person to another.

I'm glad you did not run it last year! :lecture

Not sure either but I'll figure it all out.

Sundays at conventions always get me down...

Me, too. But hopefully not as bad this time since I'm staying the whole day.

:hi5:

Us too, or at least me. Checkout on Monday morning. Very nice relaxed arrangement, and I'm looking forward to it too. Maybe we'll have a freaks dinner Sunday night too, for those of us staying that late. And I'm still honestly very interested in hitting Death Valley. If anybody is interested, we could work out travel details, and I'd suggest return flights going out of Las Vegas.

Anybody interested in hitting Death Valley, post CVII? :D
