Just putting this out there. I'll take a Trevas if you can order one for me (that's if you and JJJ don't want that one). And if you or JJJ want one, just let me know if you get one while at the show. It's not the end of the world if I don't get this one...

Am I crazy, or didn't the majority of the prints used to be 24x36? Most of these are 18x24 or less, which seems small to me... Plus, they are costing MORE because of the conversion rate, PLUS VAT being added on top of the charge! So the Trevas print will cost almost $100 (61.50 Euros) after conversion! They don't add tax on top of the prints in the US, so they shouldn't there either. As it is, they are making more money due to the conversion... Sorry if I sound bitter, but I am. I was planning on buying a ton of prints, but now I may only get 1 or 2...

FYI, it says pre-orders are open UNTIL July 19. They are up NOW.

I'm on the fence with the Trevas. I like it.. but It leaves something to be desired. There is little fear in the family's eyes. I agree with Stormy that Luke was a must on this one is some form.

I am still on the fence.

I like the Rood, Baker and Tween though.

I know what you mean, but can't quite emote it into words JJJ. Still, you see I requested Ken try to get me one if possible. I'd still like to have it, I think partly to avoid regret if I don't try, and partly because it really does look great. Just not the subject matter I was after I guess...

I already ordered the Trevas for myself. That was the only guaranteed must buy for me. I really like his style and concepts. I'm probably getting Corroney, Busch, and Lin Zy as well. That might be it for me. I like Vandersteldt, but I don't like paying that much for prints.

How many prints do you think I can safely take back in a tube without making them too tight? I don't want any prints to get damaged. I guess it would depend on the thickness of the prints. Some are on heavier stock than others...

Anyway, I will certainly do my best to get additional Trevas prints, but I can make no guarantees. I also can't guarantee that anything will come back in immaculate condition. I will certainly do my best, but sometimes an edge or corner can have a mishap.

I have no idea what you are referring to. A Bing search for "zazoo tube" brought up several weird animal sex video results. Seriously. I typically just bring my Ice Tube, which is fairly large, nearly indestructible, and has a strap. I don't think I want to be juggling several small tubes, which is what I assume those are.

Actually no. Sorry it's actually Yazoo Mills tubes. They are thick walled tubed and very very strong. The four inch tubes are amazingly strong and it would be the only tube you would need.

It's the goto tube for Vandersteldt as well as many high end print companies.
