To borrow a quote from Admiral Motti himself:

"Are you ****ing mad?"

It was perfection :lecture

Oops, I totally thought I posted that in the cantina. Sorry all! But to answer your question, YES, I am ****ing mad. It was certainly not perfection, but it was tolerable.

Vintage-Ewoks-and-Droids-Cartoon-Logos.jpgx$query$xvx$eq$x635030388520770860

Did you spend your Saturday mornings eating a bowl of C-3PO’s while watching the Droids and Ewoks cartoons? Even if you missed those shows by a decade or two, you’ll still look great wearing their classic logos.

The Droids logo is planned for a Unisex t-shirt and a kids t-shirt. The Ewoks logo is planned for a Ladies cut t-shirt and a kids t-shirt.

And last but not least the one piece of this lot that I must ask for if at all possible from my brothers in attendance, please and thank you if possible:

Ralph-McQuarrie-Darth-Vaders-Castle-Concept-Art.jpgx$query$xvx$eq$x635030388450684182

Ralph McQuarrie created this piece of unfinished concept art depicting Darth Vader’s castle, which is never seen in the movies. We’ve asked artist Paul Bateman to complete McQuarrie’s piece, and this is the result.

This piece is planned for a print and beer stein.

I would love to see what that stein looks like, but I wouldn't ask anyone to bring one of those back.

I do love this, though. I thought it was the milk one from the last Celebration, but just realized it wasn't. I may need this one depending on the shirt color. :rock

I just realized the last one was even Hoth Blue Milk which doesn't make since. I'm glad they changed it to beer this time.

Okay, preorder July 19th? I clicked the Trevas, of course, and there was a place order button and I pushed it. I was able to order, but decided it best not to as I had not read the rules or anything. I wonder if it would have let me go through the entire checkout process. Of course I'm not going to this Celebration. And it's pick up only...

So about this Trevas...

I'm a bit torn. Happily I guess for the most part, but partly sad as well. I pictured the ANH (I know, I know...) print showing off Luke. I know Trevas has done a previous print for CIV I believe, showing Luke prominently. But now his new style of behind the scenes that we've got two of so far led me to believe he would revisit Luke. This print is a bit dark for my taste. I was hoping for a trifecta of Trevas, but may actually end up passing on this one. Being poor, and with wall space becoming a premium, blah blah blah.

Don't get me wrong, the artwork looks amazing. Vader is great. It's just not what I was looking forward to. It doesn't seem to fit with the previous two releases.

I may try for one anyway, but of course I defer to JJJ. Maybe if Ken is able to buy multiples at the show, I'll get one. It is nice, just not what I was looking for...

:( but :panic: :panic: :panic:

One question though. Can we order and give Ken our order sheet for pick up? Or do they only allow the actual person (badge holder) whose name is on the order form to take the print?

If it's like previous Celebrations, Chris may be lax on that. :D

Initial wave of art previews released !

Pre-order July 19th !

https://www.starwarscelebration.eu/Whos-Coming/Art-Show/

CEII prints are costing MORE because of the conversion rate, PLUS 19% VAT being added on top of the charge, plus 2 Euros fee per print for pre-ordering! So the Trevas print will cost almost $100 (61.50 Euros) after conversion! They don't add tax on top of the prints in the US, so they shouldn't there either. As it is, they are making more money due to the conversion... Sorry if I sound bitter, but I am. I was planning on buying a ton of prints, but now I may only get 1 or 2...

FYI, it says pre-orders are open UNTIL July 19. They are up NOW.

Mentioned on the website:

Each customer must pick up their own print order at the show from the artist and will be asked to provide the artist with their printed order confirmation and show ID to match the name on the order. Customers will not be allowed to pick up orders for other people.

Thus, I would not attempt it UNLESS you clear it with the artist first.
