Great work Chris and yeah its a bummer about the Habro chest being a commander. I remember Hurricane doing a cast if the GG bust with the correct plate.

Chris excellent work mate with the Snowtrooper. Really looks the part mate and the "knockers" (Bino`s) really add to him

WIth TheGents ref photos looks like it wouldn`t be to hard to convert one of Hasbro/Mark`s chest pieces to a troopers.
Some dremelling and resculpting is all that is needed.

Is the GG Snowtrooper Commander a 1/6 sized bust, so it might be able to cast a commander helmet including hard faceplate?!
Or else the hard faceplate only?!

@big guy
Yep, some dip-switches on the belly, some ranking stuff up on the breast (It's already on for Veers, not?) and whambam ... SNOW?

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I am aware that the chestpiece is different, thats why I didnt finish it. Im planning to do what BigGuy said and make mods to it with sculpy and a dremmel . :)

Thanks Speedy. thanks Andre. :)

I started working on the chestplate...

Cheers dude. I have another set of Hasbro armor. I may tackle the officer once I get this guy finished. :)

It looks like you almost have to build the mask onto the figure and then set the helmet on top of it...I dunno.

I did some more work on the chestplate. It sure is a small place to work in...

I need to go in with my hobby knife and clean things up a bit. Its coming along though.

very nice Chakaman!

are you going to add some snow effects to the costume? of just leave it "clean?"

I like mine neat and clean. Started customizing just because of that awful weathering HASSbro did.

I think sometimes, when you have a well-done sculpt or bash, there is some pride in it and absorbing the work that you did. I usually save weathering for when I'm not happy with my details, or after a two-week absorption peiod, whichever comes first.
Well done, man, well done.

Hey thanks, I really appreciate it. I agree with you. Weathering can hide some paint detail flaws/mod flaws. If I do anything, I will just do some light armor weathering with a scalpal and some light dirtiness on the boots.

but who knows...he looks pretty cool white. :D

fresh out of the academy & ready to kick ass...............:lecture

nice work chaka.
