Killing/hurting children will always be viewed as "worse" than adults because, for the most part, they are innocent, pure and completely incapable of defending themselves.

I know it seems rather anal, and in a lot of situations if it's a mass killing it's much easier to focus on those aforementioned groups, but in a case like this which saw only 3 deaths, it's not hard to acknowledge the other's. Chris on the other hand, if the reports are true that he did in fact cause the killings doesn't deserve any of our attention. That's just my opinion.

A child is the most innocent thing in this cruel world.

The F*$K he do to deserve to die? And just not the fact that the kid is seven years old but even his own blood. The same child he helped raise, nuture, laugh with, etc etc.

Hey I am with you. This kid doesn't deserve to die. Neither did the mother. Nobody should decide who lives or dies. It's very upsetting.

I hated hearing about this. And I agree, kids do get more focus because of the fact they are so new and innocent to the world. I personally am sick and tired, and haven't eaten. So I am not great at explaining myself, or perhaps I shouldn't have even commented. Didn't anyone to confuse the fact that I was trying to start something here. I just kept hearing about the kid, and the mother was left out a lot.

Unbelievable. I loved the Canadian Crippler back in the WCW days and used to really get into the Four Horsemen matches. I thought he was a great athlete and really fun to watch but killing a child is beyond redemption in my eyes. Whatever the reasoning, whatever the cause the senseless taking of a young life before they have a chance to really live is one of the most selfish acts because you are denying someone else that right who has no choice in the matter. Not to mention he was pretty strong and muscular, strangling his wife and smuthering his kid?!?! That could not be quick nor easy and the sheer force must have put them in such anguish before death. I do not mourn Chris Benoit, I pray for the souls of his wife and child and hope he pays a heavy pennance in the afterlife.

I understand what you mean. I think people focus on what is more appalling and I think the most appalling thing is that this pric would kill his son. I feel bad for his wife too. But being a father, it is the child that sickens me the most and which enrages me the most.

Sorry I misread some of the posts. I saw a lot of focus on the child.. sorry again I am sick. I often get the girlfriend mad because I forget half of what she tells me. I am riding on nothing here. I am the worst at explaining things when I am starved, dehydrated.. I get emotional easily and start defending things that ultimately don't need it.

Anyway sorry if I upset anyone. I just hate when stuff like this happens. I don't understand how anyone can take away the two most important things in their lives.

Definitely being a father this is very upsetting for you. I am extremely upset for the loss of a child and I am not a father. Although it would be nice to be one. I just don't understand how you can take away your own child and wife like that... that's some scary stuff for a person to be on that wave length.

Cause I can't sleep. I mean I rest a lot and take naps, but I always get woken up everytime I swallow. It freaking hurts..damn tonsils are driving me nutty. Right now it's hard to do anything BUT post. This is not an excuse. People know I have been sick on here for ages and I am getting really annoyed. And no you aren't being an ass. It's very possible that Benoit did kill his family. Wrestling has a way of turning people into something they never thought they could be. There's only so many steroids, painkillers & other various substances you can pump into your body before your mind starts turning into applesauce.

Somebody posted a list of dead wrestlers & there's so many more out there that had fallen off of peoples radar. Mike Awesome committed suicide, Louie Spicoli OD'd, Pitbull #2 OD'd , Hercules Hernandez died of heart failure at 47, The Wall (Malice in TNA) died of heart failure at 36 and The Renegade (remember the fake Ultimate Warrior from WCW in the early 90's?) killed himself. Canadian Strongman Dino Bravo was executed gang style. Not to mention the wrestlers who are still alive and just sad to look at now...Jake Roberts is an alcoholic/crack addict, Bret Hart will never be the same after the concussions/strokes he's suffered, Steroids have destroyed Superstar Billy Graham's body and just look at the broken necks wrestlers have suffered and the drugs needed so that they can perform (Kurt Angle, Lita, Steve Austin, Buff Bagwell, Scott Steiner, etc, etc....)


I can not stand to see any child suffer at all, but I would imagine that there's probably more to this case than meets the eye. I would imagine Benoit was in a very strange place mentally.
