Getting payed millions of dollars to play pretend has got to be stressful.

Please show me where I said that he or anyone should quit anything.

I said he should STFU and get back to playing toy army for the few million that he's making

That's based on what was heard on the tape and not what I'm guessing did or didn't happen that day to him.

But its still his job. He has to do it.

You keep saying he should STFU and deal with it because he's getting paid. But thats not how GOOD actors work.

What movie is this that he is working on?

I only ask so that when I see it, I can sit through the credits, find the DP guys name and yell "^^^^ YOU *so and so*!!!!"

:cuss :lol

Bale was showing he was the Alpha Male on the set. People are always walking and moving on a set. But most actors will call cut and pull the individual aside for a chat, never castrate them in front of the crew. It was uncalled for but for an actor to call out a DP in front of his crew.
I don't know how many sets you've been on, but I've seen many filmings and nobody freakin' moves after they've called action. You'll get dirty looks from everyone. (Yes, I'm embarrassingly talking from experience!)

Some actors are really intense and it's obvious CB is one of them.

Jeez, I've been on the set of Saving Grace a few times and you are not even allowed to look at Holly Hunter in between takes. Not at all- you must look down or away. She caught me looking at her handsome costar once outside the set and she still gave me the evil eye.

Actors are a breed of their own. It is what it is...

:dunno

A job is still a job. When a studio is investing hundreds of millions of dollars and you're the biggest factor in drawing people to spend their hard-earned money to see your movie, i bet it can be stressful, especially when it's a collaborative process that involves hundreds of people - tempers can run high.

And aren't they shooting T:Salvation in a freaking desert?

Don't quote Brando in this context. He said that when he was old and disillusioned. The profession means different things to different people.

Did he say "Ehhhhhh" what happened to doi, or psyche?!

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

... and Bruce is a nice guy. :monkey3

I work on quite a few sets thank you, and have even been nominated for Still Photography awards, and there is movement and noise all the time. Some yell shut up and other PA's are always trying to find the guy opening his soda at crafty. But it happens on almost every take, somewhere on the set. I do stills and I'm always moving during a take, to get a better angle for the shot. I get "yelled" at is when I'm in the "eye line." Which is an actors excuse for not knowing their lines. I've blown takes by inching into the frame, but no actor has ever gone off like Bale to me. If you're a good actor, I should say professional actor, your concentration is unbreakable. I've worked with Jason Statham, Nicolas Cage, James Woods, Steve Carell, the entire cast of "The Office" for that matter, "Heroes," "Friends," etc. etc., and even been on set with Holly Hunter on "Saving Grace." They all take their craft very serious, but they don't disrespect the crew, and if they do, they will usually apologize afterwards, but away from the crew so they don't lose face. What did or do you do on Saving Grace, maybe I've met you.
