Ya, I can't figure what that guy's deal is. Bale, who knows, did they shoot in the dessert, was it the 13th hour of the day, was everyone at their limits and ready to snap. I agree that it's extreme, but to change your opinion of someone based on a context-less recording seems extreme.

I work with a lot of people in the film industry & luckily very few actors behave this poorly. Granted the DP made a mistake, BUT does a director go off on an actor for cocking up their lines? It's a difficult job at times with hours most people could never handle but Bale's behavior is plain childish. In fact, I couldn't give a crap about watching any of his films. Everyone has a bad moment at times, but how you react to them is what makes a person. Bale is pathetic. Why is it somehow ok, expected even, for actors to behave like this? Sad, very very sad

I couldn't care less what he is going through or whether he is under alot of stress from working long hours. His tone and laguage was totally ridiculous and uncalled for.

It's not that bad... I've given worse ass chewings in the Navy. Honestly, when you are working in a tough situation...high stress and all that.. sometimes you can snap and go a little too far. I've choked people in the Hangar Bay onboard the ship, so I know.

We don't know if he apologized to the guy later or anything, so no need to tear the guy apart. Sometimes people just snap, pressure can do that.
