Bale's ^^^^ing awesome. Taking this little 2-3 minute sound clip as it is, with no context whatsoever, I can't really judge Bale for going bat^^^^ crazy. We all have those moments.

Honestly, how would you feel if you were the DP and you were going about doing your job and then - zing - out of the blue the actor chews you out. I'm sure the lighting adjustments were needed, or else why would he be doing it in the first place? Believe me, every person on a set knows exactly how much it costs to run one frame of film, so if they're having to re-do the scene over and over, there's got to be a good reason for it.

But that is an assumption. We don't really know if the adjustments were needed or not...the point we got from the audio is that he was doing it while the cameras were rolling. I dont think normally lighting is adjusted during this time.

For those defending Bale's childish behavior here. I think many can understand him getting pissed and reacting, but it's the fact he would not let it got and went on a 4 1/2 min rant about it. Just on and on. he could have gotten pissed, made his point and let it go and I doubt many would have said much about it. He just kept on and on and like someone just punched him in the face or something.

An actor's got a ton of lights, a boom, a camera rolling, twenty people behind it, watching, taking notes, giving cues, you got grips and elecs on the sidelines, plus any visitors on set, etc...

You'd think the guy has enough junk in his eyeline not to go ballistic over one person stepping through.

There must be some bad blood there for other reasons.

They stop when the director yells ACTION. Unless the scene calls for things to be moved. If an actor knows that " X is moving to here" he'll let that slide. But some dude coming in fixing lights RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TAKE is pretty annoying. I guess it happend more then once....
