Well, I just picked up the convention version for $16 on ebay so I canceled the Hasbro one. It will end up costing about $2 more with shipping but since I asked specificly if I could use the code for luke and they said it was ok then 4 days later its not ok I just couldn't keep my order with them.

The figure and base card will be identical, I think it's just the sticker and the CIV back card (similar to the Target Clone Trooper) will not be included either. This will still be an exclusive figure though, just probably not as limited as the CIV version, I believe it's like SSC's non-Attendee practice, which is good cuz just cuz we can't fork over the ammount it takes to go to Celebration and SDCC, doesn't mean we're not as big, if not bigger, fans than some who can go, my wallet doesn't equaly my Star Wars passion, if it did, I'd be almost as rich as Lucas.

Not at all, I almost wrote it but I've said it a bit and I don't want people taking my word for truth, I'm just making a best educated guess based on the facts that are availalbe to me, which is Hasbro's product page for it which gives no indication of anything to do with CIV, though the whole discout dispute makes me wonder, because sure, they had to pay a lot for theirs, but if the figure you get online isn't the special CIV version, who cares if you can get it for a lower price, most people that got the CIV version wanted it specifically with the CIV deco, and would probably care less if the base figure went for cheap on Hasbro's shop site. I guess we'll know for sure in a few weeks when they start shipping.

Luke has sticker only, no special back like the droids.

Well, the laziness factor kicked in ... and I called today to confirm my order. I made it very clear to the person on the order line that I was very upset with the way this transaction had been handled - I called in before hand to ask if I could use the code and their representative told me it was okay. Well, the operator told me they weren't authorized to give the full discount since it was listed in the original add for the code (which makes me wonder how the original operator hadn't known that? ). But they did offer me 5 dollars off my shipping, which brought the total for 2 delivered to $31.45. So, in the end, it comes out to about what I would have paid with tax at the show. Still not happy about the other 8 dollars I lost with the code, but you win some, you lose some

Question for those who ordered the droids from Toyrocket - have any of you had problems with them - order wise? I order 2 sets of figures along with 2 clearance Palisades Adult Swim sets. Well, I received 1 set plus the 2 clearance items. I checked and they charged me for both. I e-mailed them Thursday, but still haven't gotten a reply yet. Seems like this exclusive sh#t is getting more and more complicated sigh ...

Well, that stinks! I just checked my order...it was supposed to ship today, but I haven't received a notice yet.

I got the same f*%#'n email. I immediately sent them a response and plan on calling them tomorrow.
Though it does make me a little less pissed knowing that I'm not the only one who received that email.
Hopefully it's just a mistake and my order isn't canceled.
