Public Enemy is good, but it's also a really early movie (1931) and it has some slow points. If you really want to see a good gangster movie with Cagney and Borgart, see "The Roaring Twenties" made in 1939....

I see! I'll grab them both Tomorrow and take a watch! I want to watch Angels with Dirty Faces too! That looks great also.

Pat O'Brian (who plays the priest) in Angels with dirty faces was a good friend of a Cagney. That's a good movie too...good scenes at the end when he's going to the chair, but I don't want to spoil it...

That's awesome! So many films to see, To be honest, I'm more into 50's, 60's, 70's films over earlier stuff but like them all and will have to check some more out! Will get those three as soon as possible though!

It is also the film that kicked off "East Side Kids", "The Dead End Kids" and "The Bowery Boys" series. They kept changing the name of the group because of an argument over pay and billing.

Upon further research... "Dead End" was the film that kicked off what was to become "The Bowery Boys". "Dead End" predates "Angels with Dirty Faces" by one year.

"The Bowery Boys" stole many of their plots from a lot of Abbott and Costello films.

Yes, now that you say that, I remember seeing Dead End with Bogart in it right? It was shot kind of one dimensional (because it was written originally as a play). Bogart was a bit overdressed in it, wearing a light colored suit and hat in it, right? I don't remember the dead end kids in it, but based on the title, I'm sure they probably had some scenes in it. They were much more prominent in the Angels movie though...

Slowly getting there, switched out the Jeans, Made him a ring, changed out the T-Shirt!

Re-arranged my set-up and thought I would show it, basically just have must haves for me now minus a incomplete New York James Dean! Of course some of them are not finished and decided to re do some parts on Jett Rink James Dean!
