You left Raiders OFF the masterpiece list...?

Is it, tho?

I know that was an oversight.

Was it tho?

Your beloved Raiders was left out and the post will be there forever!!!

Every Which Way But Loose/Smokey Bandit1/Animal House/Airplane1/Caddy Shack/Beverly Hills Cop1/Police Academy1/ROTN1/Back to School/Bachelor Party/FBDO/Fast Times RH = Masterpieces

Hey, you can't do that!!! :cuss

I consider Lethal Weapon a flawless film within its genre and as far as accomplishing what it was set out to achieve. It's the quintessential buddy cop film and so much of that film has been copied, parodied, and become cliche, but structurally is a well made film. The film is ridiculous and over the top down to the acting and constant yelling, but its got great replay value. LW 2 was pretty good as well. Part 3 I didn't care for, but I liked 4. My only issue with 4 is the Riggs( Mel) looks nothing like the character from the first three films. Danny Glover looked exactly the same tho.

Thats cause Danny Glover looked 65 when he was 50 :lol

Lethal Weapon 3 has by far the worst villain and the film suffers for it.

I like them all :) but 3 is easily the worst one.

While LW is better in every way, I'd rather watch Commando because it's so crappy. My brother and I used to play "spot the mistake" when watching it because it had so many. :lol

THAT was it. Yeah. :lol

:lol

Commando was silly schlock but it did have a clever premise. I really liked the "so now that we have your daughter you'll be forced to cooperate..." "Wrong," BLAM. You don't normally see the heroes immediately turn the tables in a hostage situation like that. I tend to hate it when the good guys almost always give up their weapons so easily when in real life all they'd be doing was dooming both themselves AND the hostage. So kudos to moments like McClane letting Ellis die, Cara Dune blowing away the Shuttle Tydirium pilot, and yes, John Matrix and the guy in the chair.

Him taking out the guys on the plane, sneaking off, and then having the whole film be a race against time to save her before the plane lands was pretty brilliant IMO. The rest...eh, lol.

Raiders is a better made film, but yeah, I like Doom more. I think Indy is cooler in it, always have.

I forgot he had to do all that before the plane landed. That explains why he kept looking at his watch. :lol Sneaking off is an understatement. He jumped off a plane without a parachute, landed on his ass, and walked it off. :lol

The dinner scene is politically incorrect and culturally insensitive. #dated

Also, Indy hit the Asian boy. He really should have slapped the annoying blonde. She's Kim Basinger Batman level annoying.
