i'm not trying anything myself yet. just wondering if the sniper ever got really really cheap if the black suit would ever be useful or changable.

I know Buttmunch made a Bludd outfit but that was more of a dark brown, it's possible that the Rit remover can lighten it up a bit but I would think that it works more towards darker colors even if redyed after being stripped. That's usually the way it goes whenever I dye dark items.

Think of most Asians when they dye their hair. That's about the orangy color you'll get. BUT remember, threads won't dye so if you're doing a black suit and dying it red, you'll still have black threads.

too bad it couldn't be bleached, then dyed to a Stinger driver grey, for example. There are some fabric paints, but they always leave the fabric pretty stiff.

think the grey dye would cover the yellowish orange? hmm. well if the sniper price goes down it'll be worth the shot.

Or if you find a reg Trooper suit which I'm thinking about doing, that will have a better chance of making it the grey you need.

I don't think you'll have any issues. There's a certain someone who's able to change the coat on a certain something to make it turquoise instead of brown for screen accuracy. *thumb to nose*

They turned out fine. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to do the same.

The grey dye will cover the yellowish orange.

Depends on how long you leave it in for and how strong the bath is.
