Still waiting on my GoHastings trooper. Ugh. Living in Hawaii does have its draw backs...
Pfft, world's smallest violin pal.
No sympathy from me.
Word.

I'd give up collecting if I could live there, Gus. I envy you
The grey dye will cover the yellowish orange.
Depends on how long you leave it in for and how strong the bath is.
John
You'd have to.
Yeah, it only really sucks in the waiting and shipping cost department. Sideshow will only ship 2 day air here so it can get expensive..
Finally got him today. Figure and box are complete and in good shape. Surprised at the packing job, actually well packed.
Now, the joy of opening a new toy er.. I mean figure.
It's a toy, Gus..... A freakin' glorious f'n toy!!
You guys and your dollies.
You love em too!
I got my trooper, and the ring inside the head came unglued. I was going to write a post going off on how Sideshow cares so little about quality that they couldn't be bothered to make it right, and how the trooper is such an inferior figure, and how I was so screwed over by Sideshow, who obviously doesn't care.
I couldn't do it. Even parodying that kind of mentality was too much. How anyone can do it with a straight face, I will never know.
I just fixed it. Three drops of glue. Now it's fine, and I saved myself a lot of typing and a lot of looking like an ass.
The temptation is brutal.
The strap on the sidearm came unglued too. This figure is truly an abomination. I know I should say something, but the 'usual suspects' will just turn up and throw rotten vegetables at me like they do to everyone who isn't a Sideshow apologist.
I think I'll just call Ralph Nader. Better yet, Michael Moore. Congress will hear about it within a week, and then those shifty eyed bastards in the SSC corporate offices will wish they'd never been born.
