Texas Tech appears to be for real, but they still have a tough road ahead (at Oklahoma and then, if they win... the Big 12 Championship Game).

They are on fire... no doubt about it. But if they survive the sooners.. they deserve the NC game.

Glad Penn State lost. I didn't want another Bigten blow out this year. We are just not ready for the new level of competition. :(

Florida is playing better than anyone in the country right now on both sides of the ball. They're still my pick to win the title this year.

Here's the new AP poll...

1. Alabama
2. Texas Tech
3. Florida
4. Texas
5. Oklahoma
6. USC
7. Penn State
8. Utah
9. Boise State
10. Ohio State

Coaches poll...

1. Alabama
2. Texas Tech
3. Florida
4. Oklahoma
5. Texas
6. USC
7. Utah
8. Penn state
9. Boise state
10. Ohio State

Only thing that surprises me is Ohio State being anywhere near the top 10 and USC being as high as 6 in both polls.

Oh, Oh, hands way up. I'm a Longhorn fan! Yup. that's right, because I'm cool like that. Other than that though, I'm a hockey girl.

you should have had hope after scoring like 51 on LSU, not to mention blowing out Georgia...i'm just hoping Florida is overconfident for that game......please.

:rotfl:lol:rotfl

I just hope that the Ole Miss loss has given them enough fire to last until the SEC championship and beyond. If they stay hungry and don't lose sight of how much that hurt... we could do it.

Still, that SEC game is going to be an amazing contest. :rock

Florida has been so damn impressive these past 4 weeks.

Yeah, 70 points?!?! :joy:joy:joy Are you kidding me? I think Spurrier said it best last week after his loss to Florida when he said that this Florida team is MUCH stronger than the National Championship team we saw a few years back. The SEC game against Alabama is going to be one for the ages. (Man I love SEC football!!!!!)

And how about Oklahoma over Texas Tech. Well, so far anyway. The game isn't over yet but where in the world is this coming from?!?! :horror

New polls are out. No big surprises though after seeing yesterday's performances. SEC is ruling the college world right now. Can't wait for the SEC championship!!!!!!

Bowl Championship Series standings through games of Nov. 22 with (games remaining):

1. Alabama: .9872 (Auburn)

2. Texas: .9209 (Texas A&M)

3. Oklahoma: .9125 (Oklahoma State)

4. Florida: .8755 (at Florida State)

5. Southern California: .7974 (Notre Dame, at UCLA)

6. Utah: .7858 (Finished regular season)

7. Texas Tech: .7789 (Baylor)

8. Penn State: .7520 (Finished regular season)

9. Boise State: .6581 (Fresno State)

10. Ohio State: .6210 (Finished regular season)

Oklahoma is very close to passing Texas, and should do so IF they win in Stillwater.

That OU-Tech game was ridiculous. How on earth did we lose to Tech?? (although we did deserve it, the way we played in the first half :sick) Oh well, that's why college football needs a playoff system, played at locations neutral to both teams. Playing at home is a total unfair advantage (as seen in both the Tech-UT and OU-Tech games).

We still go to the Big 12 championship though right, since we beat OU? And they could very well lose to OSU, that's always a big rivalry game and OSU is at home.

Alabama and Florida have to play each other for the SEC title right? I predict Florida will win that one. They are rocking lately. UT v. Florida for National Championship! :banana
