You seem to be bothered by my Colossus statue. Does it make you jealous to know that I don’t care for comics, but still own an impressive collection of statues and art? I have several Colossus statues, so having one with a human head isn’t that big of a deal to me.

Why would I be bothered by it? I chose not to get it and it's still in stock so really could pick it up if I wanted to anytime. I'll just wait on the Jim Lee PF. Okay, you own an 'impressive' statue collection of comic statues and don't read comics. Good for you.

I'm fine with that, just find it interesting that people just won't pick up a comic to find out more about the many statues, especially when comics are works of art in themselves and I wonder how many collectors of Marvel in here never read comics. Just never thought that people will spend thousands of dollars on items and not know their history. That could be why they don't care about comic accuracy or lack thereof.

Been reading for years and I think to enjoy the comiquette line you need to be current with whats being put out now.

I think its a great piece actually. The PF will probably be better but if you started the 1/5th X-Men comiquettes, this one is worth having in your collection. I just dont like the fact that some of the x-men comiquettes are modern vs. classical (IE- New Colossus, Classic Angel, Hybrid Nightcrawler, I guess Modern Psylocke). etc.

Im with you Sebastian, I like mine very much and I do plan on sticking with this 1/5 line...so far at least. Actually I do think the majority of 1/5 characters match what they are currently wearing in Uncanny X Men. Colossus and Angel and Psylocke all wear those current outfits. Nightcrawler is correct too...in memoriam. In the current lines his hair was flat and he did not fight with a sword. So I think the majority of those posting pics with his curly hair and saber are trying to capture his 90's look. The AH Rogue outfit was current the last several years but it just changed.

I have to be honest, I think the lines on the face is just a slap in X-men fan's face. This is a comiquette after all, you can't go adding a new look to Colossus face that hasn't even been popular or even seen in comics. And the switch out head is just another sloppy exclusive since Colossus doesn't transform like that.

It's like they know nothing about the character and didn't bother to even do any research or consult anyone that does.
