So far, they seem to be on schedule this year. Bespin Luke was a surprise. I didn't expect him to make it by year's end. What is left for this year though? Just Ben and Leia right?

Correct. I hope Palps makes it in early which would mean next month or early Jan.

:nono Get these Hijackers off de plane !

I think 15 pages for Praji the ANH background character is very generous

Can we lock or move onto discussing the pros and cons of something else ?

I'm not going to get my hopes up, but that would be the best Christmas present Sideshow could give. And it would establish a tradition since Darth Maul ended up being an early holiday surprise last year.

It'd be great if he did but I just don't see it. Im more wondering what is holding up Leia. Maybe they are just resourcing the entire dress. It will look really good having her with Praji though. Then throw in some marmits (if i can find them under $100) and my ANH Vader Hurricane will be making eventually and :drool

I'd like to see what the next SW PF is going to be also.

Its gonna be Commander Praji! Didn't ya know? :lol I'd actually like to see the droids come out as a pair. Those, X-Wing Luke and Qui Gon are the last one's on the original list I think.

Edit: 4 more posts to 2k!

It would be very very awesome and would end this year on a very high note for my collecting life. I'm not gonna count on it though,

Yeah, I don't think it will happen either but it would be quite cool. I think they where working on the dress @ SDCC and that is the hold up. Though I do expect her before the end of the year.

Yeah, that material and pattern was far from flattering. There are very few figures that I will say is a complete bomb IMO, but ANH Leia would have to be one of them. Hopefully, improvements were made to bring the quality up to par.

Actually the longer dress at SDCC looked pretty good but the material was just off. Far too shimery when the dress was just a plain heavy cotton.

The best one yet.

Ewok Lookout with Signaling Horn. :D

:rotfl What if it was Jar Jar? But onto Praji, I think the outfit for him is ridiculously nice. Spot on it looks to me but Im not sure how I feel about the cloth cap. The sculpt.. well it doesn't look bad. And we never got prolonged looks at Praji so Im not that bent outta shape but here's what's interesting to me, the paint job. Does it look to anyone else like it's more along the lines of a production job than a proto job?

I might buy it just for the laughs it would get, how about Wicket humping Han's leg haha.

As for Praji, I'm surprised to even say this, but it looks to me like the real hat is better looking than the sculpted one, and usually with scaled down pieces, sculpting better replicates than cloth because of the thicknesses.

What do you guys think?

A Medi collector and a Hasbro collector are both in a bar hitting on a hot girl.
The Hasbro collector can afford to buy her more drinks, but once she knows about your hobby neither one is getting laid.

To me the sculpted hat looks too gloss to be good and the cloth looks a little big. I guess I want to see it in hand but issues aside he will probably get the cloth hat.

That'd rock, and a Vader announcement at SDCC 08 with a December release would be cool too, let every year be Merry Sithmas with Sideshow, with ROTJ Emperor and throne in 2009 :) It scares me that it's close enough to talk about 2009 already, where is time going.

The gloss doesn't bother me, but something about the slope from top front to top back seems to extreme on the sculpted hat, and that may be right for some of the imperials but I just don't dig it, but kudos to them for giving us the option.

Dave Myatt over at RS has a good trick he uses when photographing figures that are too glossy. He uses some putty stuff that takes the shine off.

I think the cloth cap works better too, it just has a more authentic look to it to me. Combine the cloth cap with a pair of Newline jackboots, and that uni is gonna be looking razor sharp.
