He should did devil, he should did! Today I'm going to have to eat noodles for awhile because I made the choose to get Power Girl. Damn rent, cable, and girlfriend's birthday all in one week.

I wish I could scrounge up the funds somehow for her too but after ordering Wonder Woman to get into this line, it just isn't an option at all for me right now. Like I said before I just hope she's still available when I am able to buy her.

I think that she will be, but there is always the 2nd release. It seems that they are releasing all the ladies in 2 releases. 2500 now and the rest later which is the same. In all it's going to be 5000 per lady if I'm correct.

Some really quick pics - Got #1234 (no foolin!) She's huge too!

First impressions - first off I have to state that I have an unhealthy obsession with Ms. Starr so this was easily my most anticipated CG and I'm a bit disappointed. I feel like DCD just didn't give PG the attention she deserved unlike Catwoman who was delayed a bit presumably until they got her right. My biggest gripe with PG is her base which has a STICKER logo on it! all the other ladies have a nice pianted logo and PG gets a sticker?? my second gripe is the paint. The paint on the cleavage is not the greatest as well as the paint app on the backside of her suit, looks uneven a bit. Also the paint bled a little around her thigh and so there is skin tone on her gloves and blue paint on her thigh. Other than that though the statue is pretty solid and a good addition to the line, I just wish DCD would have spent a little more time on her. But then again, it could be just mine that came this way and everybody else with get a spectacular piece.

I still love this line, still love PG and I love this statue but it could have been a little better.

Congrats on getting her IC and I'm sorry to hear about the paint issues. From what I can see in the pics I don't really notice anything. I can sort of see what you mean about the cleavage area but other than that she looks fantastic to me. The sticker logo is kind of a weird move since all the others have a painted one though. Are you gonna get another one or are you happy enough with the one you have?

No I'm keeping her. In all fairness, the paint issues are not that bad, it's just that all the other ladies enjoyed damn near perfect paint apps and for my beloved PG NOT to be perfect, well it's a crime really. But why a sticker DCD? why???

Yeah I know what you mean, especially when it's one of your favorite characters. The sticker really does baffle me though.

Well on a side note I'll be getting Wonder Woman tomorrow. So I think that'll make me feel better about not being able to get Powergirl.

Which on-line store should I buy her from? Preferably one that has them in-stock & doesn't have crazy inflated domestic shipping prices.

Also, is anyone else suspicious when a person gets a new statue, they open it, then attempt to sell it right away on ebay? If they know they don't want it, then why open it in the first place? It makes me think that they've spotted some paint app flaw on it & wanna get rid of it while the hype is hot...
