This was my first ever spook and I grabbed the mechanic, superman, and zod. I am still trying to decide whether to pick up the power pose mark 42 for a hundred or drop 3 bills on the diecast. I would probably pose the diecast in a similar pose. Also I have heard about quality control issues plaguing the diecast. Any input?

Big thank you TO EVERYONE who posted codes! I scored about $50 in RP and have roughly 2500 points total from codes and purchases I have now made.


Well since I added so many codes to my wallet . I just ordered some Clones!

Thanks! Just to throw in my 2 cents, I seriously can't believe the issue with this fake code thing. All I saw were people joking around passing time between codes. And when a code was real it was painfully obvious because it would get reposted over and over again. I wasn't on any email or text list, but I still got 10/13 just casually checking this thread about every 10-20 min. I think lots of people here are missing the point of this thread, yes getting some free points to offset the cost of this stuff is nice. But part of the fun is also the jokes/banter etc. If code seekers are not willing to or smart enough to wade through the conversation then tough. This is an internet forum after all. I don't think "I'm too busy" is a valid argument. Again thanks to everyone who posted codes and also thanks to the people who made it fun!

I agree with this 100% I managed to get 9/13 codes the ones I missed were because I was sleeping. Some people are just so damn stupid greedy and feel like if they should get something to just because someone else got it or they feel they should have got it. I work at a place that has a "rewards card " that gives them free crap all the time but they have a short time to use it. I have had people explode at me over a free drinks. I dont cave tho it you are going to throw a tantrum or cry about a promotional offer to get you in the store during a period of time you wont get sh** from me.People these days make me SICK! Short example I had car work done 3 weeks ago. I was informed the previous time I was in the incorrect part was put on. I was irritated at first but was thankful this guy was honest with me. When I paid The manager "took" care of me without me asking for anything and hoped I would return. Then as I left some a$$**** who had no clue what trouble I had was like so your gonna give me free stuff to right and I rolled my eyes "kept my mouth shut for once and left".

On a Sideshow note I found a guy in my city selling a Gandalf the Grey EX Polystone statue, I am currently negotiating with him and hoping to pick it up in the next couple days. I am then going to use my RP's to order the Saruman statue so they can stand together

Gandalf and Saruman would make a great display. Good luck! The girlfriend and I are going through the LotR trilogy right now. Halfway through the extended edition of Return of the King.

Yes, people called in about real codes from time to time not working but in a situation of a real code someone has a problem with it's easy and quick to assist folks with a real code. People calling in about fake codes (which there were MANY calls and chats that occurred) takes longer as the person inquiring about it doesn't always believe the CS reps (9 times out if 10) when they inform them about it being fake and so they will keep them on the line for an extended amount of time because they aren't getting the answer they want. In some instances yesterday some of our CS reps had to endure being yelled and cursed at over fake codes. One could say that's part of the territory in that sort of position within a company but it makes me sad and frustrated when a human being has to endure bad treatment that they are undeserving of.

But again, the fake codes were not started or even continued as something malicious (at least that's my perspective). Just unexpected side effects occurred.

Moving forward, DarkLord Dave should place a warning on the original post with 7-day bans for fake codes for future events. Hopefully a measure like this will prevent what happened during Spooktacular in the future.

We really enjoyed the savings, discounts and reward points you guys generously offer during your events and would hate to see things change because of this.

Overreact much? This is why in the future you may not see anyone participate in such threads and instead take to completely private venues like IRC channels. Mybe Dave has better things to do than to play nanny?

I love it when uninvested people pop out of the woodwork to try and lay blame and offer consequences. What spirit of community and solidarity.

Hey guys! Just joined The site today to stay in the loop with everything going on here. I'm pretty new to 1:6 collecting about a year ago and just bought the HT Joe Colton figure during Spooktacular should be getting it Wed. (It'll be my 3rd overall) I really appreciated all of the work and info about the codes that we're being updated so frequently. With how expensive these figures seem to be getting any little bit helps and it's nice to see other people sharing the wealth of knowledge about the discounts/RP. Anyways just wanted to say thanks and hope to see others stay so invested in this forum because it's a great resource! Thanks again!

Thank you guys for making this event so enjoyable and intense, this was my first spook and I had a BLAST.
I would be satisfied if I got 1/13 free RP codes but I got 11/13 which is something I'm VERY HAPPY about!! Big Thanks to sideshow also for making this happen and giving away free stuff for literally nothing, I couldn't thank you enough!
Honestly, I don't get why people were calling SS and complaining about fake codes because in my opinion I think it's part of the fun of this thread and I hope it doesn't affect future events.
I bought Superman with Halloween code, it's a steal!
Again thanks guys for this great event, you guys rock!

I thought the thread was moved as to not need to see it reduced to "bans for fake codes" or other such nonsensical actions. Everything's already in motion to keep this thread fun, and others who don't get the jokes out. I guess it needs to go the step further and make it private and invite only, even if it means most of us won't be invited...
