If they put Green Arrow on the big screen i honestly think Stephen Amell should be given first chance to play him, his performances have grown alongside the show's.

Eh, that's one part where I'm fine with them taking some artistic liberties. If that was the case, all I'd see when he was Oliver Queen on the news would be "*********." Longer beard, though, is fine, just not the "Powers Booth in Tombstone Soul patch and handlebar mustache."

I was just joking with the stache and goatee ....though I wouldn't mind a more of worn down beard look to him in future episodes but I think it be tough to do since he needs that "corporate" look as well for Queen Consolidated.

It's possible and Stephen has shown interest in playing the character on the big screen, but I honestly think DC won't do it and will keep this universe separate from their DCCU.

One thing thats really puzzling me is why did Oliver believe he killed Slade with the Miracle vaccine when he knew he'd see him after Shado was murdered?

There is still a lot of things that happen between Oliver and Slade that we haven't seen yet. How did Slade lose any eye? Does Slade blame Oliver for Shadow's death? If so, why? Lots of questions that need answering.

P.S. - Show returns in Jan, so we may learn some of the answers sooner than Feb.

Obviously Ollie is going to have at least one fight with Slade on the island, probably ending with Ollie

Which, come to think of it, is probably why he sent Grundy out with a full face mask covering up the eyes as well.

When Oliver jumps in front of Sara, it's because Ivo (or whatever his name was) said something along the lines of "time's up", and aimed the gun at her, right? Oliver didn't jump in front of her because he valued her life more than Shado's, right? He just assumed, based on what Ivo said, that he was going to go ahead and shoot Sara.

That's how I saw it, what do you guys think?

If so, I wish he just would have told Crixus that because I'm sure he would have understood. But now, if their whole feud is based solely on Shado's death, that's pretty stupid.

Hopefully Oliver does end up telling him what really happened, they fight for a bit, come to terms, then eventually a real problem develops between them which will be the basis for their feud.

I think the writer's intention was that for whatever reason, love, guilt, whatever, in that split moment Ollie had to decide, Sara's life meant more to him. That's how I took it anyway.

I think my favorite Deathstroke moment had to be him punching a hole in that dude. I really hope he tears Ivo's head off.

I think Oliver kneeled in front of the gun bc he said times up and he didnt want to choose so he decided he would sacrifice himself instead but the guy is evil and killer her anyway.

If so that kinda sucks. I mean if that's the sole reason for Slade hating him, it's a really weak one. I also don't buy that he would have chosen Sara over Shado, or vice versa. Maybe, like you said, for a split second the guilt overtook him causing him to choose her, etc, etc.

But I still don't think that's how we were intended to interpret the scene.

When he said "time's up" he aimed the gun at Sara, as if he was going to shoot her first, then Shado.

I just took it as Oliver instinctively jumping in front of Sara because he didn't have much of a choice. Ivo was going to shoot Sara. I think if Ivo had aimed the gun at Shado and said "time's up", Oliver would have jumped in front of Shado.

My point is, at least from how I interpreted it, I don't think Oliver did anything wrong and I hope I'm right and he ends up telling Slade exactly what happened - that he didn't choose Sara over Shado, he just instinctively jumped in front of the gun and it just happened to be aimed at Sara rather than Shado.

I think my OCD is taking over a bit. Okay, we can move on now.

But yeah, fantastic finale as expected. I guess the Flash spin off will premiere next Fall? Very interested to see how they handle him.

Interesting info from here https://arrow.wikia.com/wiki/Slade_Wilson. They reckon Slade has already lost sight in his right eye.

I get the feeling from that Slade blames Oliver for Shado's death, firstly for being fooled by Ivo into revealing that they survived Amazo's barrage and secondly for not chosing her over Sara. Both of which lead to Shado being killed. And finally he doesn't want Oliver dead, he wants to blind him in one eye and take away the one(s) he loves.

Yeah, but he specifically says "I'll put an Arrow through his eye," and, at the beginning of season 1, we see the bloody Deathstroke mask with an arrow through the eye. I'm not sure how much more obvious what happened could get.
