I played the demo and loved it! Sure it reminds me of God of War. But remember a certain PS3 title called Heavenly Sword? Another God of War type game. Personally I like this game better anyways. Love the atmosphere. I will be picking this up today for sure!

Played a bit last night. Screw all of the predictable reviews... "It's just a GOD OF WAR rip-off", "It's not completely true to the classical poem and takes dramatic liberties." Uh... DUH. Bottom line: it's fun as hell (no pun intended) to play, and it has some amazing visuals. And it's still Dante's Inferno with the 9 Circles of Hell. The game wins, the detractors fail.

Played a bit last night. Screw all of the predictable reviews... "It's just a GOD OF WAR rip-off", "It's not completely true to the classical poem and takes dramatic liberties." Uh... DUH. Bottom line: it's fun as hell (no pun intended) to play, and it has some amazing visuals. And it's still Dante's Inferno with the 9 Circles of Hell. The game wins, the detractors fail.

I haven't played the game yet. However, the demo was damn good to me. I can't wait to play this when I get home. Although it will still take a back seat to Bioshock 2.

No doubts there. I picked both up at midnight and BioShock 2 was the first to enter the 360 tray.

But I did manage to play Dante's Inferno for about an hour this morning. It's gonna be a blast.

I thought the song choice was a little odd but the visuals of the commercial were cool.

I thought the choice of song was perfect, gave me the chills, worked just as well as the Gears of War commercial with that Devotchka song.

Heavenly Sword is the ****! I still have to go back and replay that.

Yeah I really don't get the vibe of some of the mediocre reviews other than the whole GOW clone debate.

Honestly, I believe a lot of PS3-only players are just butthurt because Visceral managed to make a competent GOW clone. And that's especially dumb since GOW III is just over a month away.

Dante's Inferno can stand alone as a good game. Not great, certainly not original, but solid and damn fun.

I do. It was one of the first games I got with my PS3. The guy at gamestop said it was one of the best games for it so I bought it. It was crap, totally hated it. It was fun for the first 30 minutes then it got boring. And the Sixxaxis controls on it really sucked.
