These figures are so weird in their pricing. I've seen sets go for cost and then others go for a rediculous amount. Recently, I just sold a spare Kira I had that was in a very damaged box. My BIN was around $40 bucks since the box was beat. Well to my shock it ended at $73, way more than I was expecting...

What DC stuff DON'T you have.. I'd say sell the spare set. You'll get at least $200 for it...

Weren't these figures a run of 7,500 pieces? That's A LOT of figures and still the demand is high. I guess Dark Crystal has a bigger fan base than I thought...

unreleased stuff... ;-)
I would like to keep the spare set for my archives, hehe.

Yes there were 7500 pieces. That's indeed a lot... strange they sell that well now.
I saw that Landstrider... dumb people I mean it's still available for $ 149.- !

Damn. I was really hoping they'd fix what needed to be and get this last piece out. Such a shame but overall I have to applaud Plan B's effort in doing this license some justice...

Yeah the Jen on Landstrider is $150 and the Urac is $80. Beautiful pieces...

Yeah nice ones, but $149 and $80 are quite high prices in my opinion... Plan-B Toys made beautiful busts of a high quality standard too, but the price was reasonable in comparison. Too bad they couldn't release the Skektek bust in time...
These new Urac and Jen/Landstrider are sweet for sure, but I think I'll pass on them due to the price. I have the bad feeling the manufacturer and licenser are taking advantage of the nostalgia and collector's money a bit too much here... You know, the "it is rare so buy it at all cost whatever the price!" thing...

Was reading about this Shaolin figure in another thread, and it talked about this new company called MINDStyle. Apparently they are going to do some Dark Crystal stuff. It immediately made me think of you guys. Don't know if this has been brought to your attention or not. Here's a link to the article....

So far from Toy Fair '08, the only good news on the Dark Crystal front is NECA annoucing a Skeksis the Chamberlain figure:

Fans of the 80s (especially fantasy/adventure flicks) must thank NECA these days. Princess Bride, Conan, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal...!!!

I wish they'd have taken up the Goonies license instead of Mezco. They would've done a good job.
