An update on my Sith Anakin figure that I'm working on.... I finally finished most of his clothing, besides the black shirt and pants... just thought I would share it with all of you guys..

btw.... I am going for the "end of the duel" Sith Anakin here... hence the burnt clothing and ash...

Everything looks amazing DA. With every picture you post, your work gets better and better!

There was a time I looked just like you; hunched over with a detail brush working endlessly. Nowadays I'm just too lazy to break out the old tackle box of paint.

Here is the finished Anakin for you guys... minus the glossy coat on the eyes and mouth.... My gloss coat has dried to a solid inside the bottle... I need more.

Damn good job Josh!!!!! I love this pic, its my fav so far of all the Vaderkin pix! Looks just like the one on the box behind him!!! Between the paint app and the costume work, it just amazing what you have done with this figure. Had it looked this good coming from SS I would not have canceled my order!

This figure makes me wish all the more that I had photoshop....

It sucks not having the ability to make a truly creepy shot with some of my customs.... Guess I could be like Mikey and use a red towel...

Man! Awesome work DA, each piece you complete is more and more amazing, and they were damn fine to begin with. I think you nailed the Vaderkin... and I love what you did with all the distressing and weathering of the costume.

And GB, thanks for the nice comments. This figure was a labor of love for me, I spent almost an entire day just doing the details on the head and my Fiance could not get enough of watching me do it. It was a lot of fun, and after a while trying to figure out the eyes.... I think I got the crazy stare I was going for.

I'm glad you like it, Josh. The avatar version looks great!! I was going for a subtle wavy heat distortion over the face, but I can't judge how well it came out.

Definitely check out the "Action Shots" thread...I posted a very fiery Vader pic (although mine, as always, is Jedi Anakin with digital Sith eyes...although it's hard to see them this time).
