I love the way you made your base,it really adds to the figure.I watched Freddy vs Jason today and your figure looks spot on.The changes to the mask are even better.

I really really like this figure,it looks so life like,are you going to repaint a Freddy to go with him?
He really looks amazing.

Thanks again Matty.... Yeah, I did a Freddy once but it wasn't as nice as I wanted him to be. I think I'm going to try and get another Freddy (regular) and try to do a repaint. Could be fun, and now I have a lot more experience.

I appreciate the comments on Jason though, I really tried to get it as close to the film as possible while still doing something different...

Another great Jason repaint Josh....I do agree with your comments on Jasons coat...Its great coming from SS, but it could really use some more dirtying to give it that little extra somethin'...I think your Jasons look much better than the original and when your repainting figures thats the best result you can get!

I had my struggle with his mask, though. Just could not get it as perfect as that last one. No matter how hard I tried.

Now I know how SSC must feel when trying to match a paint app to the prototype. It's harder than it looks!

Yeah, I see were you had lightened it up a bit..I still think it looks great and is an improvement on the original....Maybe your Chi was really harnessed when you paint your first one?

Also near completion on the Orc sculpt I was given by Ironman to work on.... I'm really happy with him, but will have to wait until tomorrow to give you guys some well lit pics...

I didnt even notice that there were new posts here Been a little busy with the nut shots, sorry.....They both look great, I really like the Orc..Nice use of color on him. Shading looks really good!!

Thanks King! Yeah, the orc turned out pretty cool.... Photos do not do him justice. I had a blast, just layering colors on his face to get his features to pop...

I should be finished with Max by the weekend as well. Hopefully....

Ok, finally finished Max... I just need more clear gloss to do the eyes and mouth, but he is complete... even down to the slight gray on his temples... Very fun sculpt to paint, very challenging. Glad I waited to do him at the last.

Next and final one for a while is Sleepy Hollow Walken, not too great a sculpt, but still decent enough to pull something off...

Thanks guys... thankfully the beard was easy to do... with multi layered color...

And pixle... I wish I had one for that... (maybe one day). These heads as of late...(Hicks, Apone, Max, Punisher, Orc) are all part of a batch of heads for my good buddy Ironman. He gave me these in trade for the Kurgan I am gonna use for the Origins Kurgan project I'm working on.

But man would I love to put together a Max of my own.... I loved painting this sculpt, would love to do it again and display that mother in my collection room!!

Ok, I got my Subject 5 last week and was a little underwhelmed by the tamed down production paint apps. So... I did a little altering and got him back to his original gory and burnt state. I hope you all enjoy!

First here is a shot with the flash to show the paint for what it is...

Then the darker shots... forgive the orange hue... I need to take regular daylight shots tomorrow...

I think he looks much "fresher"...I like this paint app. ALOT, really adds to the feel of the figure!!! Very nice job Josh!!!

Again, thank you very much King. I LOVE zombies and I wanted to add a bit more to him. Now he is up to my own standards!! Now if I can only get those Art Bucks from SSC I will make some more zombies!!

Max looks pretty good.

Is the sculpt that ruff? Max doesn't have the deep wrinkles.

Yeah, that's the one thing I didn't like about it... the lines are really etched in hard. It paints kinda rough...

Though, I just recently repainted the eyes and it helped a lot. Seems as though I mistook his eye color altogether the first time...oops...
