Tonight I painted Batman as well, mostly just the chin and I narrowed the eyes as well.... Pics aren't the best, but they will do for now...

I think you could go with Les' method for Bats' eyes. You know, with the white showing below the pupil. I've forgotten the word for it, but you know what I mean.

I think you are right on that one Mikey... I'm not very happy with the way the eyes turned out. I seriously think that the eyes are too far up on the head or something. I may have to do those over... And yeah, the "simpaku" (maybe the right spelling?) eyes would do this character a LOT more justice.

I need a new brush. I wore out my smallest tip painting Supes.

You may not like this idea, but you could try to paint the whites of his eyes a little darker than usual, either with a mix in of taupe or just gray. His eyes are generally shadowed, and darkening the whites might tame them down a bit. I'm not sure about this, though. I did this to my Gamorrean, and it worked out pretty well, but there's a major difference betwen a guy dressed in a pig suit and a guy in a batsuit...

I wonder what Les thinks of this idea, too....

That's actually a good idea. I'll give it a shot tomorrow and repost pics.... it's just crazy enough to work.

I'm really not happy with the position of the eyes on the sculpt...waaaay too far up on the head IMO... At least the jaw was easy to work with.... very nice to paint.

Damn Josh.....Your Anakin looks EXACTLY like the proto...and Han looks amazing. I'am finally getting Han on Monday:chew, so I'll judge for myself if I think he needs a repaint. The more I looke at you repaints, the more I want to bax up about 5 or six heads and get them done by you. I'am really ompressed Josh. You have become an awesome painter....

And the Jasons top notch. Already posted a comment for him in the Jason thread

Thank you so much Chase.... wow... the comments only fuel the flames... so I appreciate every one. Anakin's eyebrows were tricky, and even since these pics I have tweaked them a little more.. (notice that they are not even... )

Also today I painted Jason 7 a little bit.... just to try and move into the rest of my collection with the tweaks...

Today I finally got around to finishing that old Bespin Luke custom I'd had for the longest time.

The head is from Sovereign....kinda... it's a cast of one they made. The clothes are Hasbro, as is the belt (kinda obvious there). I used SSC Anakin's saber, being as it is the closest to Luke's Bespin blade.

The clothing was weathered and painted, using several shots from the film for reference. Such as....

Finally..I had thought that maybe you gave up hope on your Luke custom...He looks really good. I love waht you did with his clothes. Between him, Vaderkin, and you first work on JvsF Jason, you have become quite the clothes weatherer.....Very nice good. I can see you are not just a pianter, but a full on damn customizer!!!

Now where the hell is Medieval Kurgan

I love weathering costumes.... on any scale really. It's fun and I get to cut stuff!

Right now I am going through all of my old projects and doing anything I can. Kurgan is actually next on the to do list. I just bought a bit of mesh to use as armor skeleton... so that should help the process a bit.

To practice a little bit with the sculpey before tackling Kurgan again... I thought I would put those Bucks that I won to good use and attempt a zombie couple custom....

So I started the guys head, working mostly for wounds and bone structure. Will probably do a little more fine tuning tomorrow, sanding and etching fine lines.... I think I need to do something with the lips... maybe lose the entire bottom part or something....

Thanks guys.... Yeah BM... I'm using Super Sculpey.. Stuff works great!

And Mikey... I totally agree on the lips.... it just detracts from the effect I have going so far.... CONSIDER THEM GONE!!
