Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!

Sorry to see that some stuff had to go. That Craig Bond was beyond amazing!!!! So fvcking cool!!!! But glad you got it taken care of quickly. And I'm glad you know that you always have tons of friends ready to support you. You deserve the best bro.

Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!

Sent you the payment for Joker shirt, tie, and trenchcoats. Let me know if you got it. Plus I still need your address so I can send them to you.

And did you get that last PM I sent with the Joker shirt pattern?

Yes indeed I did bro! The wife just pulled me offline last night, she was tired and ready to go home.

But she wanted me to thank you all, it really saved us. No joke. :duff

Glad you got it and all is well now.

But I still need you to send me your address so I can send my stuff off to you.

Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!

Les thought I should post these pics in Josh's thread. Its his Ledger Joker sculpt that Les painted for me (he owed me a free repaint so Josh graciously let Les do the honors, and Les told me just what an honor that was). He and I are both greatful for the opportunity. Now with Josh going to be working on some article's of the Joker's clothing for me, I am convinced no offically licensed Joker item will compair to these two's amazing tribute to Heath.

holy moly that's incredible. les and josh should start up their own 1/6 company. i want to get in early with the shares...

Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!

Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. The combined efforts of two giants. I am pleased with you, my sons.

Thanks Mike. I'll use Josh's thread to say this, as I am flattered and humbled. You are, in a way, like a site father to us both., To Josh, who you had under your wing for a while there, and with me, when I was out there in the wilds of the internet, lost and confused, yearning for even more nutty souls like myself, (But having fun on other sites too! :D ), and then you invited me here (Begged, insisted, etc..) and I came. And have been grateful for it ever since.
Now look how many great customizer dudes and dudettes are here now! So so many! All classic!
So, you can say that all day! I am proud to be your site son! Rock on, Dad! :D

(And you are kinda like the customs Dad here too! You were and are, the first guy here that did customs for so many, and for that, you are truly a legend :rock)

Damn, Les. You make me blush! I'm both proud and humbled. You guys do so much more varied work than I do. I'm happy being a painter and a kitbasher, but you and Josh actually sculpt and cast these days, and it's just astonishing.

I'm proud to be the first customizer on this board, but you and Josh are formidable, both together and seperately, and I'm so pleased you found each other, and that so many have joined us in this amazing hobby. I'm not sure I'd still be here if this community of customizers hadn't grown to include you both, and artists like Hurricane and Darren.

Rock on my friends. I love to see your work.

Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!

Thanks to you too Mikey! Les, Darren, so many others that have made this site such an awesome experience. I'm really proud to be amongst you all.

And to all of my customers, I want to apologize for my lateness of late. Things have been hellish here, broke, jobless, school woes, car woes... it goes on and on. Even my Xbox 360 has betrayed me, 2 days ago I got the red ring of death and it doesn't work anymore. So yeah, life is crapping on me something fierce.

But I'm painting my A$$ off. Last night I finished a Ripley, Sidious, Faramir, 3 Jokers, Krycek, and others. I will be making severe headway on the Joker figs and the very very late projects on my shelf in the coming weeks. Lots to do. I'm trying to finish all of my headpaints, and won't be taking any more orders... I'm thinking that it's time to hang up my repainting duties. It's getting too far out of my control anymore and I can't really keep up with it.

But do not fret, I will be doing customs. FULL customs. 100% creative figures all my own. Hell, I might even sculpt. They will be offered here as well as online, and this thread will be a place for me to show my own repaints as well as a behind the scenes look into the making of the future DA creations.

Be prepared to be mystified by the strangeness of my future figures, many are in the works and will push the boundaries of good taste. :lol

But consider this my "retirement announcement"... I'm officially OUT of the repainting business.

Lots of great guys here who do it anyway, including Mikey. TONS of talent that can take up the slack.

I just want to thank all of those who have stuck with me this far, those who have helped me hone my skills to the level they are now. I'm eternally thankful to everyone here for making me the painter I am today. :duff

Re: DarkArtist's Creations of DOOM!
