Take it easy Darren. Lots to do, and everyone can wait for them. Your stuff is worth it! Consider how long it's taken me to get just a Legolas and an Arnie from you! :D And they are all the better for the wait!

Hey Darren,

Haven't talked to you in a while but I hope I'm still on the list for one of those Ani's. I'm in no hurry for it but I haven't heard from you regarding when you were going to start it and when I should drop you the cash. No worries though.

well for all yu guys waiting take heart it is definently worth it. I think Darren actually ended up with my Aragorn for 5 to 6 months, and you no what, i don't mind one bit because it's awesome. hopefully i'll be able to take some pics of it this weekend although i'm not sure how to put them on the site.

When it comes to customization projects (no matter who is doing it), PATIENCE is definitely a virtue. :lecture

Thanks for the comments guys. It's true patience is always worth it once you get your custom in the end (whoever you're getting it from) but I appreciate that it's hard to wait when you've paid for something and you want it.....

......NOW!

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

What about my Faramir? :monkey2

It's all about who paid first, and you wouldn't believe how far back some of my commissions go that I'm working on at the moment. When people get in touch with me (and i get emails every day) I'm telling people there's a 4 to 5 month waiting list.... happily everyone still says "ok... put me on the list" lol

I have been dying to paint the Faramirs that I've got sat here though including yours (3 sitting here). You know what, I'll see if I can put them in now along with the Obi-Wans and Arnies that I'm painting at the moment. I'll do some extra hours in the evening or something so I'm not taking any time out of other people's customs. (don't want anyone being angry with me  )

I'll get it started this week :rock

:bow :bow :bow thanks for those words..... makes it all worthwhile hearing stuff like that :bow :bow :bow

your skills actually got praise from my wife which is a very rare thing when it comes to this hobby. Normally it's just a smile, a "that's nice" or a "I'm happy you like it."

the only problem is it really magnifies that the bad paint job on Faramir. I was completely fine with him until I puit your Aragorn next on the same shelf.

That makes it even nicer, getting compliments from someone who usually isn't interested in this stuff. Tell her thanks

And I'm painting 3 Faramirs this next week or two.... so lets see how they turn out lol

and Sachiel, I know you're not mad with me, don't worry... and I'll try not to wear myself out :lol

wow, page 3 :lol I guess that's what happens when I'm too snowed under to keep on top of my online posting.

Bit of an update from last week this... that's when i took these pics. The last bunch of Anakins that I got finished (with all the rest sat behind waiting to be painted... sigh, lol) - the two blurred out heads are privtae commissions I'm working on, almost finished with them, but can't say what they are in public.. lol

The pic makes them look a bit... lacking in detail, but they're basically the same as any of my others. Obi-Wan's, Faramirs and Arnie's are being done (just didn't take pics of those) ... with sculpting jobs lined up after.

I'm considering putting a halt to orders... not sure yet. Last time i did that nobody listened and people carried on getting in touch :lol but the waiting list is about 4, 5 or 6 months now... depending how fast I can get things done. And more emails arrive every morning....

I'm painting a bit faster now though... (figured out a better way to do things here) so hopefully that will help things.... I just REALLY hate keeping people waiting... and when I start getting emails saying "I paid you a while ago... is it done yet?" that is NOT why I started doing this.

Trust me... I want everyone to have their orders as soon as physically possible... I'd send them out the next week if I could get to them that fast :lol

like i said though... maybe things will speed up now that I'm painting slightly different (not the end result... just my way of working here, the end result is the same as it always was, and that will never change.... if I can't do it perfectly faster... then I'll do it slower. Quality over speed for me... even if people are beating down my door)

now... if someone wants to go to all my wedding meetings for me... :rotfl

Wow, talk about an army. Atleast you don't have to paint mine.

Looking as AWESOME as ever. Who are the squigly heads that have been erased? Interesting :D

oh nobody you would know, not movie characters or anything. I just can't show them and forgot they were in the photo until i had taken it, lol

Man, you must be sick to death of Anakin by now.

lol ....never! :nono
