Thanks Paul.... I will be leaving his head as is, unless I get the mustache... Then I may have to rethink that. But if it looks like yours... Just the eyes.

The body will be painted though, you can bet that... I already let that cat out of the bag and didn't let it be a surprise.... So expect at least that!!

Maul has taken a place up there with Jason 3. Not only the best SW figure I won, but one of the best 12" figures period!!!!! I am stunned out how well he cam out!

I'm really happy for you J1, I know how important this figure is to you and with all the inconsistencies in this line, they go ahead and hit a tape measure shot with this guy, an absolutely amazing piece. Congrats SSC, And Josh, now get out that double ended maul sabre of yours and kick some ass! :maul

And I agree with you King, this may be one of if not THE best SSC 12" figure EVER made, up there with Jason 3, Human Spike and a few others, stunning stuff...

Oh yeah... It's gonna rule! I'm going to use a pair of extra Jedi hands to give him bare hands if I do pose him without his shirt from time to time... So it will have the full effect. I cannot wait!

You might need to mount his head on a new body if you're gonna do that Josh, maybe one with better physical proportions like the HT gen body.

That would be a good idea... Don't really have the money for it, but I'll keep an eye out. Mounting the head would be an issue as well... As the size difference would be a problem and I don't have much experience in that field.

I'll probably just do it as is and let the Buck look as rough as it will.... At least until a later date when I can really do it right. I think I can make it look pretty good with the body it has, but not as awesome as it could be...

personally i think the tats would be so kool the only problem is every time you moved his arm at the second joint the tatts would move different, thats the one problem, youd have just standerd pose him so all of them could be alligned perfectly.

If I had the money and talent I'd get a Rocky figure and use his rubber body with Maul's head.

But I think the head swapping for the HT gen body is supposed to be pretty doable.

Thanks PJ!! Yeah, this figure for me personally was/is the most important figure in this whole line. To say I would have been devistated if he had come out bad would be an understatment as far as collecting goes. I agree each figure has been really really good but each has suffered from some inconsistancies, but they sure did hit the tape measure job on this one. I just might have to whip out the saber and have a pic taken of me, the saber, and Maul. :maul

You got to read more of the comics with Maul in them. There are 2 I think that show all his tats.

I would spray paint a SS or similar body red, mask the tatoos and then spray paint with black.
