I wish it was an exaggeration but is not im basing my conclusion
On the fact that I have both in front of me plus the SS darth maul
Life size bust and they both have better paint jobs. I know I'm not
Going crazy so I ask my friend for unbiase opinion he doesn't collect
Statues let's see what he saids. He said the same thing LSF is really orange
when you see it in the light. He said the paint job doesn't look nice like the bust & Mythos darth. Again not trying to kill anyone's buzz if you are happy with this
Darth thats all that matters. I just know I'm not and won't support this kind of
Poor quality.

Hmmm but don't you think the Mythos for example is too dark?
Like I said I dig the statue and it works well but in the movie Maul wasn't a very dark shade of red as i recall?

Good point drakul your right darth maul is really a blend of orange and red in the movie. But I love the fact that he's all red in mythos even blending the orange with red
Would look good as well. It's when they make him all orange like the darth maul with mechanical legs looks off as well as the LSF it's orange.

I'm sorry to say, but I'm beginning to think the same as some of you here. The LSF line isn't really anything special. It's merely a larger version of the same thing.

All the issues with the PF line are still there. As an additional bonus, due to the larger scale, those issues are much easier to see.

How about congradulations!? These guys spent alot of money on something that THEY like. People have to stop being bitter. Knowing that you can't get one yourself is not a reason to ruin something on somebody. It looks great! I don't see a problem at all. CONGRADS to the lucky ones that got this LEGANDARY statue!

but doesn't change my feeling that this is way overpriced. it's got nothing to do with being bitter or not able to afford it either. i can and have purchased collectibles far more expensive than this one. it doesn't mean i think the maul lsf is a crap piece, far from it. i think it looks nice. just not $2000 nice.

Amen! Agree with this and some people just need to shut their mouths. Everyone has a opinion and people need to respect that. Even haters have opinions but they need to tone it down and let it go.

last time i checked a forum is place for expressing opinion. funny how you talk about respecting opinions yet you tell those who disagree to "shut their mouths". dissenting opinions don't automatically make you a hater. if you like a piece and want to get it, great. no one's dissing your taste in collectibles.

the face looked average at best, hopefully the kenobi lsf that supposedly will be using some sort of new lifelike skin material will come out better.

Sorry but the color of the face is not orange on the Maul LSF. It's red.

And a comment about this fact by outer_rim : His face is painted in red. Lights were directly positioned to his head when I took the picture and my camera made him look orangish, but it is red.

In my collection I have the Life Size Bust and the Premium Format of Darth Maul. And of course i will take a picture of this 3 bad boys together.

And in my opinion this Darth Maul LSF is the ultimate representation of this character.

Agreed. Pictures can show an orange tint to the color red, monitors can do the same thing. Everyone's perception of color isn't the same either.

So peeps need to take this into account when viewing pics on the interwebz.
