Anyone has a pattern for a cloak?

I managed to get lucky last year and picked up the regular on ebay for 225. Couldnt be happier. I really would like an Admiral Thrawn pf as well.

I would love a PF Thawn. One of my favorite EU characters. Congats on a great deal for Talon, what a steal.

Talon is an OK PF but you need to seriously get laid if you are going to drop much more than retail for her.

lol!! Try finding it for retail price. The cheapest I've seen is the one the local collectibles shop is selling at $400. I don't mind dropping coin on something really cool but the price is just a little too ridiculous. And yes, I'm still looking for one.

Yes $400 seems like a pretty fair price considering what she is fetching these days. I thought about selling mine to finance the Maul LSF.

I have had multiple PM's over the last month with people wanting to commission my wife to make them a custom Darth Talon cloak; she already makes the custom Grievous cloaks and is in the process of designing a Shredder cape.

When Darth Talon was initially released, I had a few people contact me for a commission, but she never heard back from them on measurements of the actual statue so she never made a pattern.

I don't own Darth Talon, so making a pattern will be difficult for her since she will just be going by PM'ed measurements of the statue and the pictures from Sideshow. Since I have had so many people contact me recently, my wife is considering a commission to make a pattern for a custom Darth Talon cloak similar to the EX. It will be made out of a sturdier fabric, with a wire along the bottom, and a clasp at the neck.

If you have the statue and don't mind PMing my wife measurements of certain parts, please PM me. IF you have the EX cape and can help her out with measurements, that would be optimal.


Disclosure:
I get that some people who own the EX frown upon this because they think it devalues their EX. I had a one of you PM me to complain when my wife started taking orders for the Grievous cloak. This will be different from the EX cape by using different material and a very thin wire along the bottom. If it has a clasp, it will have a different neck.

Wow, I am a shocked by the sheer amount of PMs I received in regards to this! She has been very busy lately making Halloween costumes and hasn't given me any details since she went to Jo-Ann last weekend.

Thanks to everyone who contacted me offering to give my wife measurements and such. Chaosorb and the two others, I will reply to your PM in just a few minutes after I pin her down for details.

She went to the fabric store to look at the different fabrics and she wants to know if the fabric is all black, sheer black, or glossy sheer? Being Halloween, there are a ton of black fabrics available and she wants to make sure that she picks what most people want. I know she will only use high-thread count fabric.

Question:
Would you guys prefer a tied neck like the EX or a clasp like the one used on General Grievous? Also, do you guys want the cloak all black, sheer black, or glossy sheer?

On the other hand, the sheer is kind of sexy and lends to the character. I'm sure they'd all look good.

The prototype cape should be finished later tonight; she picked a very dark sheer and I think it was a great choice because it has the dark Sith look, yet is sheer enough to still be in character. She also bought some fancy cord for the neck.

Right now she is experimenting with the wire and is having some issues since the fabric is not as thick as the Grievous fabric and sheer fabric cannot be ironed.

My Luke PF has been her test dummy since I down own Talon.
