My guess 750 or less. Deposit plus it cost over 1K is gonna keep alot from ordering direct from SS. JMO. As long as the QC on this one is spot on I dont really care how many they make.

I would say 750 for the regular and 250 for the exclusive is reasonable.

Given the ES of other busts, I'm thinking 1000 busts total, 750 regular, 250 Ex.

Well yea lower is always better but i'll expect higher and if its lower i'll be very happy. 250 for the Ex would be great.

I think they should sell the EX through Sunday and that's it. However many sell is how many you make. Then hopefully keep the total for all at 500.

This is twice as expensive as the other busts, so I kind of expect a lower ES. But it's also twice as cool, so I kind of expect a higher ES. It's also the first Star Wars bust with an EX, so that makes it even harder to predict.

Breaking that 1,000 total ES barrier will be tough with the down payment required.

I don't think they will close the ES soon. They will probably let it ride for a few more days beyond Sunday. Some people get paid at the end of the month.

can anyone confirm approx. how long it will stay up?

I'm sure with the deposit they'll leave it open for a week or so just to give time for people to have the deposit since there was no advanced warning.

Hard to know... but I think it will be slow to sell out because of the price and having to drop $250 for a deposit.

I do think that because some might not be prepared for the deposit without warning, they might at least wait until payday at the end of the month before they shut down the preorder.

I am going to wait until the ES comes out and then make a decision. I don't think it's very fair to charge 1200 bucks and not tell us what the edition size is. I have a feeling the ES is not small. If it sells out, oh well, saved some dough. I bought way less than previous years, less wow factor this year for me. Best piece is this one, great details on the vader bust the price shows.

Went ahead and ordered the EX from SS today. Kinda sad thinking of the things I could buy with that $250 deposit, or things I'll be sacrificing with the $200 Flex Pay payments. But I'm sure sometime next year when this thing is sitting in my hobby room, it will be all worth it. hehe.

Yep, that's how it goes... the price is crazy, but the fun of owning a killer 1:1 bust of one of the greatest movie icons is too much to resist.
