Just ordered the EX using flexpay. The price is steep, but 200 beans a month is do-able. I already have palps and grievous, so this is a must. (i know when im lucky enough to snag a maul bust, vaders price will look like a bargin ).....Now we wait.................

Still feeling good about it... but I did start looking at what fat I could trim from the collection. Being I used to collect a lot of smaller scale stuff much of that will be going. Not so much to help afford him (as its all pretty worthless now) but as a show of good faith to the wife.

Still feeling good about it... but I did start looking at what fat I could trim from the collection. Being I used to collect a lot of smaller scale stuff much of that will be going. Not so much to help afford him (as its all pretty worthless now) but as a show of good faith to the wife.

I hear a little voice saying are you nuts every once in a while, and a slight worry about being able to afford it when time comes to pay up, but this is such a dream piece for me the joy outweighs the rational.

Seriously though, I regretted pre-ordering my Darkness bust for the entire 9+ months it took to ship.

Once I got it in hand I completely forgot about the $900 I spent.

Same with all my 1:1 busts.

Sometimes you just have to go with it... I guess worse case scenario I can't swing it when it comes time to ship and I'm out $250. That would suck, but as long as my financial situation doesn't completely deteriorate that shouldn't happen.

And if it does, losing Vader will be at the low end of my concerns

That's why when the PO went up, I just did it, instead of dealing with the rational and irrational thoughts conflicting, in a moment of fanboy joy I just hit the order button and ended it, plus with the deposit, I'm more committed than any other piece to it.

same happend to me when I got maul bust on ebay for 900bucs.
I was thinking I made a mistake spending that much money on him but when he arrived I was so happy !
I spend the hole day looking at him!
even till this day he is just amazing !
I will have no problem getting the vader bust !
It will be the center of my Star wars collection right next to my vader PF.
