So does anyone have anymore info on the eFX Vader helmet??? It seems like it's going to be the ULTIMATE Vader collectible.....

i spoke to an E-FX rep at the SDCC... he said a ANH helmet was in development... he said something to the extent of they really want to capture the screen accuracy of it (the off - symmetry) which really made me happy... obviously, with the helmet being from ANH, i wouldn't expect any reveal or inner workings to be relevant (and therefore not included).

I'd bump him to last on the list, I don't think you're likely to find him for cheap, cheapest is probably still pricier than the Vader bust at retail.

Well I took your advice and I missed a Maul for $700 on ebay last night but I did get a Yoda and a Palpatine bust off ebay today for $400 and $350. I hope they come and are okay. It seems like a good deal for them.

Nice very good price for both of them, that gives me hope whenever I start acquiring more of the SW bust pieces.

Well I took your advice and I missed a Maul for $700 on ebay last night but I did get a Yoda and a Palpatine bust off ebay today for $400 and $350. I hope they come and are okay. It seems like a good deal for them.

Those are AWESOME prices I would definitely pick up both at that price!

Well, I was sort of being facetious about Maul, if you really want him be vigilent and keep your eye out for a deal and don't miss it, I was just joking a bit about how hard it is to fiind him for anything but a very high price and that you'd more likely find the others for deals first, even if they're not your first choice.

I would be concern about pieces above $2000+ otherwise meh, well in range!!! With Vader I will start my reign of the busts!!!!

Well, unless something dramatic happens that Sideshow does human 1:1 Star Wars busts and offers Obi-Wan, Vader will be my retirement from Sideshow 1:1 busts.

Oh no I understood what you meant and I was just two hours to late to get the Maul. I would have definitely bought it for $700 and been very very happy to get it at that price. I would just like to try and find him sometime at a decent price. I would actually bid on the one that just has the scrap on one of the horns now since I plan to display him hood up but not the other one with the damage. My next two on my list was Yoda and Palps so I just went ahead and got those. I hope to get one a month and hopefully at a lower than retail price. I think my next one other than Maul that I go after will be either Grievous or maybe Greedo. I like Bossk too but I hope he is discounted during Spooktacular this year.


Also I really hope they eventually make a Boba bust but I dont know if they will be able to do that.

Oh really? Eh, that doesn't seem to peak my interest too much then..... I'm more of a fan of the new trilogy. I like the classics, don't get me wrong. But I thought the eFX helmet was going to incorporate ALL the elements we've seen so far.... (inner details, face AND sound fx)

If that's the case, then I'm going to just aim for the SS Vader 1:1 bust in the future..... It looks amazing

I am not holding my breath on anything from eFX considering they are still in the same place on a good number of items as they were at SDCC 08 -- Asoka and Obi sabers, and the McQuarrie Vader helm.

It will definately be a good 3 years at least at this pace.

im just into collecting half a year ago, and was wondering if the maul bust was gone alot faster than the vader bust cause it seems like they still have quantities in SS

dun think that's a fair comparison. Look at the Aliens Warrior bust. It took quite a while to sell out and look at how much they're going for now

Well the Maul bust has been out like 2 years. They were available for a good long time back then from Sideshow. Im kind of kicking myself for not buying one back then. I was not planning to collect this line.

Welcome to EVERYONE's dilemma!

Ironically the Maul bust was my very FIRST SS piece, and boy did I luck out! I got it directly from SS when it first came out....... It's all about timing...... But I'm in your shoes with the Doom PF. I had SO many chances to pick it up and now I'll NEVER get a chance to pick it up
