Premium Format Darth Vader [ROTJ]

Picked up the original Vader PF around a year ago with the mouse droid and glad I did. Was willing to add a 2nd vader PF if it was as awesome as the Fett but I'm not feeling compelled yet. WOW me Sideshow!

I don't mind HT making a 1:4 Vader, but will it be better than the 1:6 which in a way is as bad as this SSC Premium Format?

WTH is wrong with these companies, not being able to make a good rendition of the most iconic villain in history...

Sadly not sold on this Vader!

He looks like 5 minutes after the ROTS "Nooooo" trying to make his first steps downstairs while playing with his new Lighsaber...

The pose looks like a bodybuilder and its just too much "idolized" or pseudo-cool....Attakus Version 1 Vader (less is more!) will still be the No1 Vader Statue i guess?

I hope my feelings changes after the full reveal, but now i feel underwhelmed, which makes me sad as i finaly need a Vader in my small collection...but after the loooooong wait, i just feel a little disappointment....

I really like the pose on this Vader. He looks very badass IMO and the sculpt/proportions looks great too. I might buy this even though I already have the CM.

Pending on the price and if there is any swap out left arm, I'll probably track down the original PF or get the mythos that I've been on the fence about. I just really want a 1/4 to pair with Fett.

Seeing how good the HT Fett looks (I stay away from that thread on purpose) and how the QS Bats compares to DX12, I think a 1/4 Vader will be loads better than the 1/6 iteration. But that's off topic.


As for the statue, I don't like the pose or the base. The wide saber stance will make sure this needs #$! of room to display. Only thing I like about is that its Vader.

I thought SSC did a nice job with their original.. I owned this and it's one of those.. Pics don't do it justice pieces. But it was very nice. Sold it because I thought I would upgrade one day..... Um Nope
