Vader looks like he is ready to do the Karate Kid move. Why in the world there is no company able to make an impressive pose for Vader like the old Attakus or at least the new Kotobukiya 1:10? No need to have a plastic pole in his hand, just to have VADER in an imposing stance. But in the end this is not bad for me, since I'm going to pass on it = more money in my pocket for items I really like

As long as the lightsaber is removable so he will fit in a Detolf I'm good. I'm not blown away by it but it's ok.

Going to wait for the LSF, this was another swing and a miss by Sideshow. Baffling to me. Their art direction is really lacking and the fact they don't take critiques before a full reveal doesn't help.

Okay, I don't hate this statue but I've already got the original PF so there's no need for me to add this one.

And not for nothin', but this 'one leg elevated' look is really starting to be done to death.

HT 1/6 looks pretty awful, what makes us think the 1/4 would be any better?

Regardless of pose, one thing for me that's certain is the robe, cape, and suit will be miles better on the Sideshow piece. I've yet to see HT make a cape that flows and hangs realistic and their 1/6 effort is piss poor IMO.

Now that I've watched the video on a decent size screen I do have a less than totally happy feeling, the main thing being the mixed media..., the body suit isn't sculpted so that's an issue for me (bad enough having cloth/fabric for the cloak but the whole figure being perishable materials is very off putting. Secondly I don't know if it's just a poor fitting body suit but his legs seem overly fat compared to the rest of him..., hopefully the promotional pictures will show this statue in a better light but currently I'm not 100% sure about it like I was when viewing it on my iPhone.
