The thing is, that's just delusional fans making up things they want to see. The YouTube comments on that scene I posted are teenage girls commenting on an actual scene in the movie




I know that this Joker was hanging out with Rick Ross and some guy named Skrillex on a yacht looking like a damn fool! That in the comics?

These are the same girls who post on Tumblr, so it's a moot point. The "silly commenters" and the Tumblerinas are pretty much the same. As soon as they're done with their "head canons" and OCs, they go to other sites and post those silly little comments. Either way though, I remember that from 2008 being a thing, with the fan-made Nolan-verse Harley Quinns interacting with Ledger through fan-art and fan-vids.

But that's what I'm saying, what they were commenting on wasn't head cannon, Joker was as mushy, in love with Harley like they were describing. They weren't wrong about the scene at all.

It's a totally different situation to reading into Cap and Bucky being in love. That's just ridiculous.

No one cares about Quicksilver. I mean, no one in the world. Look what Marvel Studios thought of him, for example. . .or even the comics. He was just a curmudgeony fast guy in the comics. As an Avenger, he was so underdeveloped that they eventually just shipped him off to live with the C-list Inhumans team, so no one would have to bother forcing him into stories. What Singer did with Pietro was a breath of fresh air, actually.

Joker is the most important villain in all of comic books.

So, a bit of an apples and oranges comparison IMO.

Oh, my sweet summer children, you think you've seen the cringe of Tumblr just because of fuzzy Joker? There are worse things in there...

Not to mention Stony, Stucky, Spidey-Pool and "The Super-Family"... Oh, the horror that these eyes have witnessed...

But in fairness, that's Cap's personality to be the super friend to his real friends. And the ****-erotic subtext with Cap and Bucky is pretty hard to ignore (no pun intended).

Looking for romance with villain characters seems so weird to me. Why aren't they shipping Bruce Wayne with a love interest or Clark Kent with one? The Joker isn't supposed to be redeemable in any way, this is not one of those characters girls, jeezuz

Big deal- he isn't onscreen- he's good but that's it- he's no authority on Batman anymore than Affleck or Bale...

Fair enough on that front. But when Tumblrinas are concerned, anything and everything can be made to fit their own narrative. Case in point Steve/Bucky. Even worse is comic Steve and Tony. They pull stuff from battles where, as usual, they're working together and protect each other, cause that's what teammates do, but they twist it and type stuff like "my babies!1! Tony so wants that American **** 1!1!!". And that's only the PG version...

I’m not too familiar with that crowd, but thats gotta be annoying. I think I remember seeing some when First Class came out about Prof X and Magneto being in love.

I’ll tell you what though, I honestly believe Suicide Squad was made for that crowd.

The Super-Family is Tony and Steve being gay dads and adopting Peter Parker...

It's Tumblr's fascination with taking white/straight characters and twisting them, while giving no attention to actual LGBT/POC that pisses me off. Instead of posting about Apollo and Midnighter (actual bad-ass gay dads), Flash Thomson (actual amputee), Spawn, etc, etc, they prefer taking stuff out of context and creating their own "head canons". Which, okay, it's their right, but they have the nerve to lecture others and proclaim their version as the "true" ones. Tumblr is both heaven and hell, in a way...

There's a video of him criticizing Christian Bale's Batman voice and blaming Nolan for it. That was a bit much coming from an actor who isn't that good outside of doing voices.

I’ve come to realize this voice actors have bigger egos than A-list actors, love David Hayter or not, he really showed his true colors when he got replaced. Conroy seems like he’s cut from he same cloth, but Hamill doesn’t seem so bad to me, I think he’s overrated by his fans quite a bit but he seems like a genuinely decent guy.

First Class fan-art is worse than Deadpool's, to be honest. I've seen Magneto's big rod violating the garbage chute of Professor X while he cries tears of joy... So, yeah, don't search the Magneto tag... That deleted scene of Fassneto in stockings really made them lose their minds...

Tumblr has some very cool people and stuff. Interesting ideas, talks, lots of stuff gathered in one place, all that jazz. The downside is that you have to sit through stuff like the above one when searching for tags. Now, the logical solution is to enable safe search, but you loose a lot of goodies that way.
