Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

GOTG blu-ray hit shelves December 9th so I imagine WB will release SS at close to the same time.

And on that note SS is sitting at $318 million domestic compared to GOTG's $333 million. So after the bigger start it looks like SS won't quite have the same legs. Maybe end up in the high 320's. Pretty close though. Not too shabby for having such horrible "reviews."

guardians has it beat by 50 mil internationally, which is pretty good considering SS didn't open up everywhere.

I've been thinking about this movie, hopefully we get an extended cut that adds something to the movie unlike the joke that was The Wolverine.

Re: DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

SS just bumped Iron Man off the "Top 50 All-Time Domestic Box Office list" today.

that's pretty stellar in perspective.

DC's "Suicide Squad" (August 5th, 2016)

How is it stacking against the transformers movies?

I didn't see the second and 4th Transformer movies but I can definitely say as bad as they are, the 1st and 3rd Transformer movies are probably better than SS.

Transformers is probably the better film. But not by much.

:lol :lol :lol

i meant box office wise lol

SS: $318,584,857

domestic:
transformers 1: $319,246,193
transformers 2: $402,111,870
transformers 3: $352,390,543
transformers 4: $245,439,076

it's looking like Transformers 2 is the most successful out of all of them, that's kind of interesting

Makes sense. T1 wasn't that bad for a film based on a toy line, so the sequel made more, but T2 was so bad, you can see a dip in T3....and T4. Unfortunately, the last 3 made a billion worldwide :dunno

If they're smart, they'll put Vin Diesel driving a Transformer in T5 and the film will make 3 billion in China.

Good lord, I had to remind myself you were talking about transformers. My brain almost exploded reading that post.

Brilliant.

Vin Diesel in a Transforming Dodge Charger = Mo Money than Avatar!
