From what I understand, that's another scene that only makes sense if you keep the original intent, which was for Joker to attempt to kill Harley and save himself there. Because she kicks his *** or something there, right? But as a result, you make a pretty fundamental change to their relationship that could impact future films, so they might feel compelled to leave it out altogether. Curious to hear more details about any modification of original content.

my thoughts exactly, and as a fan of the film i'm happy to take any cut they wanna give me.

BvS has to be one of the worst extended cuts of a movie ever.

At first I was like....cool.

But now, it was more of the bad Lois bullet stuff and only an extra 10 seconds of action in a movie that desperately needed more action.

I don't hate the movie but the extended is not in the same league as LOTR or Daredevil.

My gut is telling me that SS will benefit from the extended.

I'm just curious what Ayer has to say about this.

I wasn't staying it's even close to othe EC, just a better version of the turd they put in the theatre

This could be a thing for all DCU movies... offer an extended cut for every movie they make. Which it isn't a bad thing. I personally love extended cuts or deleted scenes. God knows, even Marvel could use a few extended cuts (like on Age of Ultron for ex).

i don't mind extended cuts but maybe they should focus on the theatrical cut (BvS) not always hoping these to piece the films together better.

I hope Ayer does a commentary, and it's filled with featurettes. I don't usually buy discs anymore but this might be worth it.

He really went out of his way to be a part of that video. And getting Rick Ross in it—the timing was so last minute. Everything came together at the last minute. The director, the treatment, everything."
Instead, they decided to film an original video, which included scenes of Leto as the Joker screaming in stranger's faces. He, Skrillex, and Rick Ross also stand on a boat.
It makes very little sense. But that doesn't matter, because this music video provided Method Actor Jared Leto with another chance to capture his groundbreaking and brave portrayal of The Joker to film. And because he's a very macho Method Actor—a man truly dedicated to his craft—he even stayed in character while filming a cash grab music video for a superhero soundtrack.
As has been well documented thanks to the constant reminders on behalf of Method Actor Jared Leto, his preparation for becoming the challenging and iconic villain included sending people stupid gifts. I don't need to remind you what these gifts are. Method Actor Jared Leto has already taken care of that. But Skrillex, who was lucky enough to appear on camera with Method Actor Jared Leto for all of 15 seconds, was also the lucky benefactor of one of these gifts.
The Joker (which was really Leto, deep in character) gave Skrillex "the biggest dildo" he had ever seen "and a bunch of weird **** in a box," Skrillex told Complex. "I was just like, 'Thank you.'"
