Yes. I'm not 100% sold on it yet. But I have two fears.

The first, I received my gamorrean guard mythos statue this week and I thought the COH looked ridiculous when I saw the early pictures. I couldn't have been more wrong. I panned that thing in the forums but when I finally received it and put the head on I ate my words.

The second concern was the possibility that SS might update the EX during production. The feedback on my Scorpion piece was so strong that the production actually changed and they not only completely revised the COH but also added a third head to the EX.

So yes, I bit the line in hopes that when its out the box I again eat my words. As much as I initially didn't care for the look, I'm trying to picture the entire statue with the EX and it may work. If you just look close at the eyes it looks a little strange, but as an entire piece it may come together nicely.

This piece is to important and SS can't screw it up.

They already have screwed it up BUT they can save the day by changing the Ex. And I believe THEY WILL Anyhoo heading out now. Later all.

Just have faith Dude.... Remember you aren't going to be viewing this statue from 1 inch away with a magnifine glass. At least not all the time, and it just takes one good viewing angle. This shot looks good to me..

It's actually that shot that I think it looks the worst. The farther away you are the harder it is to tell what the Heck SSC is trying to do.

I would say the Hate on the EX should could die down. But you have many hoping that SSC will change the EX head. It's not like a bunch of trolls coming in and just trashing the piece. We are fans just hoping for a change by SSC. And you should go ahead and fight the good fight in defense of the Flaming eyes since you like them. We all have our opinions. I have mine and yours is wrong.

The thing is I disagree that this discussion about the Ex head should be had in THIS thread JAWS. You made a thread for that m8. As for fighting the good fight I can keep doing that, but eventually we are just arguing in circles about the same thing in two different threads. What is the point... You know I hope we get three heads in the end to make everyone happy, but if it doesnt get changed and everyone is whining about this for another year this thread will SUCK!!! Honestly, I can't believe how many people seem to be ignoring how good this looks. The Ex is a crap shoot, but like I said in the other thread only one person on this site has seen this in person to my knowledge and she thinks it looks sharp. I am going to give Alex some faith on this one. I know that when she told me 1.5 months before the preview came up that she had seen Supes and that the he had a lot of presence she sure wasn't wrong.

That isn't what I am saying Dude. I am just saying there is another thread for discussions about the Ex. I just can't imagine this marry go round ride going on and on in this thread for the next year is all... Not when we have a better place to have it. The thread about the Ex head perhaps

Actually I am getting a bit burned out about it. I have contacted SSC about the polls on this site and the other and about what the overall opinion seems to be even in this thread. So they will do what they want.

Most of us did, but they changed a lot since last year. I am guessing that, since Martin Canale and the Gore Group have co sculpting credits, that Canale decided to add a little extra to the Ex head to give it a more dynamic appearance. That is assuming that Canale's is the Ex head, which I only say because I can't see them taking the Reg away from Andy B after he put so much work into it. Now that I Kim pretty sure the Ex is a Canale sculpt I have even more confidence in it.

Large edition sizes on Batman and Superman should be welcomed. It helps finance less well know characters from the DC universe. I hope they sell thousands of these, there's a few less know DC characters I'd like see get made.

For the small handful disappointed with the exclusive, who have managed to retain some semblance of manners, I hope a third head gets included.

For the ones stomping their feet like their parents got them the wrong toy for Christmas, I could not care less what they get.
